Cole Palmer signs for Chelsea!
Palmer has been poor since Christmas other than the odd moment of brilliance. Quite concerning if I'm honest.

One good thing that's come out of this whole sh*t show. At least some of the "ITKs" that post on this site and the other have been shown for what they really are!- Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!
I never said we couldn't attract them, I said we can't get them over the line. Which has been true of late.- Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!
From my own perspective, since Hazard and Kante, we seem to have trouble getting the truly world class signings over the line. These players are worth a fortune and the selling clubs know it. Unfortunately, there are a few clubs above us in the pecking order and if we don't cough up, they'll end up going to the bigger boys in the next window. If we don't get Enzo now, we ain't getting him in the summer!- Chelsea v Man City (PL) Thur 5th Jan 2023 20:00 GMT
Good luck to those who are gonna watch it. I haven't watched our previous 6 matches up until Forest. Only caught the second half! Won't be making that mistake again. 😴- Man Utd Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun Feb 25th 2018 14:05 UK
What the f**k is that supposed to mean? I'm here to discuss Chelsea, the same as everyone else. My opinion though doesn't mean I can't discuss the teams performance.- Man Utd Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun Feb 25th 2018 14:05 UK
Because I've seen them play plenty of times this season to know how this game went, even without watching i! Don't give a fat one what you think mate, our football is atrocious in my opinion. And my opinion is the only one that matters to me.- Man Utd Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun Feb 25th 2018 14:05 UK
Boring boring Chelsea! Made the decision a few months back to not watch any of our games against our top 4 rivals. So far I've definietly made the right call! Not one ounce of fight in this team. Boring negative manager. Looks like Conte went to the Mourinho school of football management, and graduated with a 2:2! Looking forward to the world cup this year. Even England have more fight than this bunch of cowards!- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018
Sorry, yes your're right. I'm getting my teams mixed up. My point still stands though. What Pool and City did last night wasn't just because they were playing sh*t teams, because they were not!- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018
@Stim In your opinion.- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018
Why is it, that on this forum, (and many other fans forums), that whenever one of our rivals put 4 or 5 past a team, it's because said team must have been sh*t? Is it really that hard for you guys to give our rivals credit. Basel have a fantastic record against English teams, which just goes to show how good Pools result against them was. Especially at home!- Your unpopular opinion about Chelsea
Opinions mate. "On their day", this season they have been far better than we have "on our day". In my opinion of course. And it sickens me! Especially when there best player this season and Citys best player this season were both on our books not that long ago!- Your unpopular opinion about Chelsea
Our you could look at it this way - Despite having those players, they are looking absolutely formidable. Can you say the same about us?- Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2017/2018
Completely disagree with this. Basel and Porto are quality teams. Had they come up against us or United they would probably have got a result. Unfortunately for them they both came up against what are probably two of the best attacking teams left in the competition!- Your unpopular opinion about Chelsea
There is a huge difference now though. There are teams streets ahead of us in terms of technical strength and style, amongst other things.- Your unpopular opinion about Chelsea
I'm worried now that we are going to fall away during the next couple of seasons. If we don't get through to the next round of the Champions League I'm afraid that may be us for a while.- Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UK
Your're aloud to have your opinion mate, but I still don't agree with it. I could go on about how times have changed since Terry came through the ranks, or about how 10-15mins against a big strong attacker would have done Ampadu the world of good once the game was done and dusted at 3-0, but I don't think you're going to agree with me either. Sol lets leave it at that.- Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UK
Again I disagree with you. Yes they're gaining experience by training and travelling with the first team squad. But (and here is the BIG but), they will not improve as footballers by sitting on the bench! And yet nobody has answered why Ampadu was on the bench if he "had no chance of playing"! Listen, I'm not going to go as hardcore as doctorblue, because I don't want Conte to be sacked. But I do want to see him change things up and experiment with the youth. If he's not going to do this now as he's scared for his job, then what's the point on him being here?- Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UK
Ampadu was on the bench last night. So explain to me why he was if he had no chance of playing?!- Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UK
It may be that they were being saved for tonight's youth team game, but that is no excuse for them not being played last night. If it was the case that they were being saved for tonight's game, then why have them on the bench in the first place? Getting those players first team experience is far more important than the youth team game tonight. And maybe had Ampadu and/or Hudson-Obi played last night maybe two more young players would have got the chance to play against Tottenham tonight which would also have been beneficial.- Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UK
Got to disagree with you @yorkleyblue. If we can't bring on our best youth prospects when we're 3-0 up against the bottom team in the division then when do they get a game? I think the consensus is that Cahill came on for Chistensen because Christensen was tired after coming back from injury and a few mistakes had started to creep in. However Ampadu has shown more than enough in previous games to be able to come on and do a job against the tired legs of West Brom.- Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UK
Ha ha, yes I meant Hull but had Huddersfield in my brain for some reason!- Chelsea V WBA (PL) Mon 12th Feb 20:00 UK
If we win against Hull on Friday, and then get any sort of result against Barcelona and the Manc clubs I will be happy. But an unconvincing win against the bottom club in the league does not make up for the piss poor showing against Bournmouth and Watford. I'm not fussed about getting top 4, as the Champions League as a competition flawed and needs a huge revamp in my opinion. But what I can't take is slow, boring & defensive football. We had years of it with Mourinho and now have it again with Conte. I can't stand the fact that City, Liverpool and even Tottenham play far better football than we do, pressing high up the pitch with conviction and showing that they want to win, while we plod around the pitch, and try to pass out from the back with players who can barely pass wind, while hoping our one creative player can pull off a bit of magic and get us out of the sh*t! Rant over! But still fuming>- Watford Vs Chelsea (PL) Mon Feb 5th 2018 20:00 UK
Even if he changed the formation just to try something different I'd be happy. But f**k me he's stubborn! - Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"
