  1. Who would have thought that our game would be worse!
  2. Lol. Now I've woken up and re-read that drivel that I typed on my phone earlier in my semi-conscious state, I apologise for posting that load of crap. Now, what was going through my mind earlier was; why have we had a few players in recent times, that have failed to bed in at Chelsea and have wanted to run back to the clubs we bought them from? Obvious two which I mentioned earlier were Costa and Luis. And it seems Tibo may want away as well, (not that I would be bothered by that). Also why did the likes of KDB & Chaloba want away rather than fight for their place?
  3. Have to ask this question, because it's been bugging me for a while. Why do we have so many players, who it seems, are only here until they can get a move to their 'preferred' club. It seems like Eden and Tibo at the moment are edging closer to spain. Costa and Luis didn't hang around long. Doesn't seem like a problem for the other top 6 clubs. Except maybe Liverpool who could lose Couhinho. Put he doesn't seem to be pushing for a move at the moment.
  4. Lol, ok let me rephrase that. City have a massve squad of first team players. We have a massive squad of players that barely gets used after the first 13/14 players!
  5. They'v Got a massive squad. A game every 3 days isn't going to stop them. Maybe some sanctions!
  6. That's the main issue for us. Even Roman can't compete! Where does that leave us? We'll end up as the new Arsenal, fight to secure a champions league spot and celebrating the fourth place trophy!
  7. Well if it's a case of nothing can be done to cap their spending, and that United are the only team that can hang on to their coat tails financially, then that doesn' bode well for us does it. I honestly don't know what the answer is for us to compete other than for City to be pegged back quite a bit.
  8. If it's true what City are doing is shady, then why hasn't someone brought it up so far? Wouldn't their greatest rivals, United, make a complaint atleast. My biggest gripe is the silence over all their dealings!
  9. True. As I've said before though, in this current age of football, we'v got to decide what we want to be. Are we going to compete with City? If so the Roman needs to do a lot of thinking. If not, then let's start using some of this amazing youth talent we have on our books.
  10. I might be in a minority here, But, I don't think we'r in the top three English clubs in the UCL, let alone one of the best teams in the competition
  11. The infinie money bit is a farce as far as I'm concerned. We got so much stick from all corners when we were buying up the best players. City are almost being praised for it!
  12. I love your enthusiasm, but we ain't got a chance in the CL.
  13. As far as I'm concerned that was the best result for us. Let City romp the title this season. But, if we don't spend next summer closing the gap on them then we might as well start bring through some youth players, because we ain't winning sh*t for a while!
  14. Oh well. Starting to lose interest this season.
  15. I feel like I'm turning into a right miserable bar steward on here, but here goes. It's pissing me right off that both City & Pool are absolutely destroying teams going forward with players we deemed not good enough for us! I know it's not as simple as that, but for what they've paid for Salah/De Bruyne we'd have to spend 3 times as much for someone of similar caliber. And we already had the on our books!!!
  16. I will be pissed if/when he does leave, but life goes on, and so does Chelsea FC. What I would like to happen though, whether Hazard stays or goes, is for the club to decide what it wants to do. Are we going to try and compete for top honours? If so, go out and compete for the best players and spend big! If not, then start focusing on bringing some of these amazing youth players through. If that means no trophies for a while then so be it.
  17. Don't think this is unpopular!
  18. I disagree about attacking options. We have the least amount of attacking options out of the top 6 teams. And out of those teams I'd swap Morata with most front line players from those teams except United's. We need to do the business in January and bring in some better options or we could end up potless this season.
  19. Are you comparing them to the team they were last year? They have improved massively since then, to the point where they have surpassed us.
  20. Man City look like going into a period of dominance, like we were supposed to. And are doing it with style!
  21. Well after tonight's results, all I can say is ouch! That was hard to stomach. I knew we had a few weak links in our squad, but to see the other English clubs winning so comprehensively against better opposition highlights how far we have fallen in such a short period.
  22. Oh well. Hope we don't get Europa League.
