Kepa Azpil Christensen Luiz Emerson Kante Jorginho Pedro Pulisic Willian Giroud Loftus Cheek and Odio look as they won't be fit come the first game. Reece James.. won't start after a championship season. Rudier won't be fit enough from injury and Emerson was steady last season so the defense picks itself. Kante no brainer. Jorginho I think could be used beside Kante and it might work better but since Kovatic is staying now.. he could easily start. Wingers pick them selves with Odoi injured.. he's back running now apparently but might need to be introduced slowly. Pulisic plays central often for usa. Barkley could arguably start but I think that's are best team base on who's available. Giroud can't run but is our best striker

Certainly would strengthen our midfield. good passer, not afraid to tackle and has the legs to play the box to box role. Who's going to play beside kante and jorginho will be interesting. Loftus cheek, Barkley and fabregas all cant be on the bench. (and Drinkwater / Bako (milan hopefully)

Trying to be as realistic as possible, you would assume Sarri will use his trusted 433 that he used at Napoli. GK Courtois looks very likely to leave. Last year of contract plus we won't give him the wage he thinks he deserves. Likely to go to Real Madrid so I would look for Navas in the deal as he's a better ball playing gk and more importantly, a better keeper than the other replacements we are linked with. (Allison gone to Liverpool basically) Willy can be 3rd choice.. at best. Seen some surprising reports linking us with cech.. If hes being forced out at Arsenal.. I would happily take him back as back up keeper. RB: Sarri seemed to have his RB slightly more defensive at Napoli so Azpilqueta could be well suited. I honestly think moses will be used as back up. Zappacosta can go to inter. CB: I think Luiz will stay tbh. Good on the ball and will suit Sarri's style of play. Christensen or Rudier to play beside him. Cahill back up or Rugani if he signs. LB: Sarri played a very attacking left back at Napoli. Alonso looks far to slow to play there but should be given a chance for pre season. Emerson... must see more of him. CM: Jorginho in the middle directing play Kante and another new cm beside him. Really looks like it could be Golovon. Would prefer a more established cm like Saul/Koke/Savic Loftus-Cheek, Barkley and maybe... bakoyoko as back ups. Wingers: Hazard - two years left on contract.. refuse any offer... Get him playing in a Chelsea team that plays good football and he might actually want to stay... or sell next season. Bailey - We need a player like him. I think chelsea should do everything in there power to sign Griezmann. All the other top clubs in the league have been making reasonable big signings (auba, Sanchez, Salah ect), while we've been signing danny drinkwater/ barkley ect. Barcelona might be favourites to sign him but if we have any intrest in really competing next season, we need a signing of his calibre.. i would honestly take him as the only signing in the summer.. sell bat to dortmund (scoring in the german league does not mean he wud come back and do well in the premiership).
