Next Chelsea Goalkeeper
I think they would be happy to sell Donnarumma and reinvest the money to improve other positions. His salary (6 mln/year + 1 mln for his brother) doesn't match with his today contribution on the pitch. He's very promising but still makes lot of errors, after last year lots doubt about his qualities. His problem is the price, due to his hype milan asks for him lot of money and he has already a very expensive salary,so Raiola would ask even more for a transfer, and don't know if any team would pay 7/8 milions in salary for a player who is still 19 and needs some years to reach maybe one day top level.. But around milan nowadays there's lot of confusion, I don't really know what will happen to them, they have never been chinese, now they are already americans The chinese president never existed,he was just a Berlusconi's friend who helped him to move his hidden moneys in the world to Italy, the mission is done and the chinese is gone(one of the reason of the euro ban). Now the property of Milan is Elliot, who is going to sell them another time when they find someone who pays what they ask,so they just try to revalue the team and the brand withouth losing more moneys..

Alisson Becker
I don't know a lot the english goalkeepers you mentioned, but as a napoli fan i've watched almost all Roma's games last season. 2 years ago was his first year in Europe and Szczesny had been great the previous year (Szczesny has imroved a lot, today he's very good) so it was their plan to give Allison 1 year to settle in. From what I've seen Alisson is today top3 goalkeeper in the world (maybe I'd rate Oblak #1 and Courtois #2), he's the starter of brazil national team instead of Ederson,no doubt about his qualities. I agree the problem is his currently economic value, maybe too much for a keeper, Roma hoped to make an auction for their best player between you,Liverpool and Real Madrid. So I don't know if it's correct to pay as much for a goalkeeper, but I'm sure Alisson is world classy. Donnarumma is Italian hope, but he's still in his prime and after a good first year (and after he signed a very rich contract) he didn't repeat in the second,he made lot of errors last season what I think it's normal for his age. The problem of Donnarumma is he's very promising but u can clearly see the difference between him and top keeper like Alisson, but Donnarumma's manager is Raiola and last year he signed new contract with Milan earning 6 milions/year plus they signed his brother as 3rd keeper of the team and they pay him 1 mln per year (it was last year of donnarumma's contract so they were forced),when Allison earns much less. So you should spend at least 50 milions and pay his salary a lot,for a keeper who maybe one day will be as good as top keepers, but more likely he won't reach that level, and to be honest today is just a little more than a normal player. If Courtois goes to Real, and Allison to Liverpool, maybe u could get Keylor Navas(you give them Courtois for few money!) from Real waiting to sign new goalkeep next year. I heard very good things about Kepa but I heard also his team asks at least same money roma asks for Allison,so...

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
He's good and lovely person,is a "pure" man,so far and different from today's public stars,he's genuine and passionate. But it has a downside too, majority of us neapolitans loved this downside to be honest. He worked years in the lower leagues where is not given much importance to the "form". I don't really know if he will succed to hide a little his true nature, if he will try or he will be the same like here. Because i don't know if he can act in England the same way he did here in Napoli. For example he could never become juventus coach, never in history (and not because he likes napoli and hates juventus)...

Higuain
Since I will support you next year I try to give my opinion about him. Everyone, juventus fans first, have much uncertainty about Higuain,no discussion about his technic and his capacity to play as striker,he can play in any team,he has been incredible with us,maybe he's not the bravest player of the world when he misses some chances in the most important matches. He has some problems with his phisique, not about integrity but more about his form,I could clearly see it during the seasons in Napoli too. He's not fat,he's big, every year he was running less,it looks like he gets old faster than normal players. Last year he didn't make lot of goals that's true but he played a good season, the reason of his score was the juventus playstyle, he played all the time far from penalty area to help the team to create occasions,as opposed to last year with us where all the team was playing to let him score. But he was clearly different last years compared to the years in napoli, much slower to react,to shoot, very few dribblings, few movements in depht.. He's still a good player but no one can say how long he will be, he's that kind of player which his phisique is older than is age (the opposite of Cristiano Ronaldo). And he is very bad in running and headers so should be verified his attitude for premier legue,he was really bad tat pressing the opposite team with us too. It's very risky,he could be next top scorer of the league or a flop,I'm pretty sure next year he will still be good. I think you should buy Higuain if your intentions are to make all in,trying absolutely everything to win next year, what is clearly not your plan. That said because Juventus asks 60 mln for him (they still have to give us that so don't think they will low their claim),juventus wants absolutely sell him now for his age and form problems and because they got ronaldo, higuain wouldn't leave juve,at 35/40 millions could be a good operation. I don't know Batshuayi, but i think Morata can be good with Sarri, who just needs complete striker able to control and pass the ball and play with the team, he loves Higuain but my suggestion is to follow everything he says about the playstyle and the field, but don't let him choose the players and make the transfermarkt

Eheh Jorg is good don't worry, but Mikel was good too no? The fact is Jorginho is not yet a champion, but he could become in 1-2 years, first of all he sould start shoot and improve his scoring ability. To make a concrete example,we'll suffer for sure his absence, but we are not going nuts for having lost him,we changed the coach and bought a new talent so it's ok. I think u made a correct choice signing him, u have selected sarri so u need this kind of player. If you are thinking if was better Jorginho or Seri,I say Jorginho. If u wanted the star player of that position who has already reached top level,u had to sign Pjanic, who I think cost way more. After Pjanic seriously I don't see any playmakers around not impossible to afford better than Jorginho. Plus Jorginho already knows the coach and his movements that is not a trivial aspect

Maybe both, the second one for sure!! eheh seriously don't know, first time I see something like that. De Laurentiis is always very greedy, maybe he was sure someone whould have paid the clause, maybe he was bitter in some way with sarri cos their personal relationship were a little broken. Someone said he act like that because he was scaried Sarry could let his new team buy some of our players who have a buyout clause,so the president wanted to have some contractual power with the new sarri's team (I give you Sarri for lower price + I give you Jorginho but you can't buy other our players Sarri could suggest you to buy, something like that). De Laurentiis is a very "unusual" person

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
Hi! Thanks. Jorginho since he arrived in napoli has been enough an argument of discussion in the past, first year some said he wasn't good,he wasn't fit for benitez style but he always showed high passing ability. He's a system player,he can't play for example in a 4231 or with a team who doesn't make possession style. I wouldn't say he's a complete player,he doesn't score or shoot a lot and he's not a great dribbler, but he's fundamental to play possession style, don't know if u have seen 1 of any our matches last season,he's the player everyone gives the ball,he touches it always more than any on the field so he "controls" the team,he's on very high level on passing short range(he's not Pirlo who could throw assist from any distance,he's good on long ball but he's very good at low passes). He plays a lot on 2 touches,he has very good first control to avoid the pressure (other years we suffered some goals for his mistakes, not last year, but it can happen when you play the ball always to get in control and not giving it free to opposite team). He reminds me a bit Busquets, who's way stronger phisically than Jorginho. For his position,he's enough dinamic,he's good in tactically and in interception. He can shoot penaltys. He's a player who always plays for the team, sometimes too much,he's not selfish at all. He could suffer the physicality, in particular on long high balls. Maybe with a midf Kante Golov Jorg you are lacking of cm,we had the same problem. But he's very good technic and he defends and runs so let's see. I think 60 mln is a little overpaid, but who makes the value today? the transfermarket is crazy nowadays,I wouldn't have paid so much for him, but Sarri loves him(once in an interview said the only superior level player we had was Jorginho) and to play his style you need a playmaker and I don't see any better pure playmaker on sell around (and english teams have much more money than italians so it happens you have different valutation than us on players)

Mmh interesting question, to be honest don't really know.. Depends on what you intend for prospects. From my point of view, he does not make big difference between young or old players. If u have an interesting 18 years old left winger,or a 21,or a 24 who is promising but still not ready,he will never let him play instead of Hazard for example, maybe last 10 minutes of a won match. If the young player looks to not understand so good his playstyle,he will never play till he has learnt it In our seasons, there have been some players he has never changed, never, when they were on low phisical condition too. As I said,he's not a fan of turn over at all,but this could change with a team like u with more competitive players. He's not feared to play young players if they are good,in empoli he let lot of boys play (but i think he didn't have lot of other chances). We played in Bernabeu with Diawara (he was 18 or 19 that match) and Zielinski as starters, with jorginho and allan on the bench (losing the match before starting it...). Our young 6th midfielder Marko Rog never started a match this season, the season before he just started 2 matches in serie a for an injury of other midfielder (and in both matches, against Roma and Juventus he has been our best man on the field, sounds strange no?)

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
Yeah we had a really slow start, in the first month some people were already asking his dismissal and all were criticizing against him,we didn't give the idea to be a strong team in the begin,Maradona publicly attacked De laurentiis for have chosen such an inexpert coach, and that was a little brutal cos in napoli maradona in more important than everyone and sarri had grown up with his myth, so he was humiliated. But then we(not only sarri but also the players and the fans pushed to make it) changed our formation (we passed from 4312 that was not good for our players at all to 433), the players started to assimilate the playstyle and we started our good trip, and Maradona publicly asked sorry to Sarri and said he was wrong (not a tipical thing for maradona). Can't really say how long time, our first month was terrible then the team started to make progress every match and we started to see that our way to attack was efficient, different and repeated,i don't know if u ever played to playstation or any football game on consolle, but it was like we could build our attacking play like on playstation, scoring always the same gol with lot of semplicity, so i'd say after a month we won like 5-0 at Milan home (we never used to win in that stadium) and our attack style showed almost every match, but for example we have been terrible and ridicoulous in defence all the first year (and sometimes the second). so i would say we needed almost a month to show high attacking football level and more than a year to show difensive strenght, but ofc a lot depends on the players. Sarri for months said he was enthusiastic that players like higuain callejon albiol hamsik since the start were available to learn his way of football, the team since the begin believed in the coach and that was important. I'm pretty sure you will need at least 1-2 years to reach the maximum level of that type of football, just because is very important to know perfectly the movement, the players have to play always "memorized". For sure Sarri job is 3 years minimum, than if it works u will play for win CL (and just to finish,I'm not a master in football to affirm with certainty his football will work in premier league the same like in italy,I think yes but the way to play and the quality of the 2 leagues are clear different, for some things it could work better because in italy always win the team who suffer less goal and not the team who score more and there's concentration about "defense tactic" everywhere, but your teams run much more than ours and that is not a little difference)

You're welcome, thanks to u for hospitality on yr forum, ofc that's my opinion and lot of other napoli's fan don't agree with me. Sarri is like a young great talent,he has lot of potential and can makes things that 90% of his collegues can't,but sometimes he makes some stupid errors that could easily be avoided, due to his inhexperience and sometimes his stubbornnes imho (the fact he has been treated almost like a god since his first year with us by the local and italian press hasn't helped). He still needs to finish his process to become a top coach, but if he improves some part of his coaching who can easily be improved, he will become for sure. Altough he's 59,he is only training at high level since 3 years, 5 years ago I think he had never coached in serie A

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
Hi, I didn't watch lot of your games last season but I know your team and your players. A good thing about Sarri is he can adapt to the players he has,and he has never had a team strong like your,so your players already fit good for him. Ofc he needs technical midfielders and strong wingers, but maybe every team to be considered good or top needs those kind of players. Would be so good if u can keep Hazard and Willian in the team. He loved our player Hamsik because he's smart to play between the lines ( don't know if it's correct this definition in english),and he could see that kind of player in Fabregas (or maybe Golovin if u buy him). But don't know if Cesc is still good for your level to play as starter. First of all u have to see if he wants to play with 4-3-3,cos before to come with us he was always playing with 4-3-1-2 and he tried it also with us but we didn't have any attacking midfielder, any second striker besides Higuain and we had good wingers so he left after little bit that project. But that could still be his favourite plan,u'll see during the preparation what strategy is in his mind. If u have any central defender not good in passing or not enough technicall (but I don't see),that's not a good fit. In the end he will play basic formation, 2 central defenders who needs to learn the movements (he will train with a drone) one fullback more offensive and the other plays more defensive (but we didn't have 2 fullbacks strong technically so I'm not sure about this, Hisay is very bad on attacking), jorginho who control the team with 2 thouches ball on the side with a midfielder more defensive (kante i think will start all the matches) and another more offensive, when (few times) we played with 2 offensive midfielders (Hamsik and Zielinski) he never started Jorginho but Diawara who is more phisical, two of your wingers who will need run a lot and partecipate in defense too and a striker who plays with the team, his striker usually scores a lot but i think for sarri play doesn't fit perfectly a pure striker (i.e. Icardi) but a player who has the tecnique to play with the team and partecipate in the game. But the point about sarri is all about movements and sincronism, the ball will go back and ahead lot of times, he needs to teach to your players to move around the fields all costantly, the position and the playstyle becomes more important than the quality of the player sometimes with him and that's the only thing to check,if your players will be available to change totally their way to play and how long it will need for them to learn it. And that's why he always wants some his old players, they already knows the movements, to make an example Rugani after he joined juventus needed some months of tactical work to get used to defending again like juventus or italian style,Sarri wanna teach his way of football that is just simply different from the others, like the1 of Guardiola is different exc.. I'm the first being curious on how he can do it a bigger team, with more champions and star players exc, but his idea of football works and also the players like it,i'm more skeptical about other parts of his coach ability,as i said he's top about organizing the play of the team

Yeah no 1 is perfect. But a coach, in particular a coach without great experience, should be more flexible and available to learn and modify his ideas. He's very stubborn, an example there are some our players who played for 30+ consecutive matches, hamsik i think also 40. He played them also against very poor team, he played all the 11 every week, also against benevento (worst team of the league) losing few days later with the reserves at Donetsk kicking ourselves out from CL. He played some players very tired and with evident poor phisique condition in lot of games, they played really bad that matches and some of them we didn't win. That's why he can't handle more competitions. We had some players to make some changes but he didn't change till someone was injured, with the conclusion that to not miss any of the matches against the worst team(our bad teams are worse than yours),they missed some key matches. He destroyed our best fullback. Or another important thing,he never adapts the team to the opponent: we played all the matches the same, playing in Bernabeu or playing in Crotone was the same exactly thing, and i think you can afford to make it only if yr name is Real Madrid. He was the main reason why we arrived at that level and fought with juve last year, but he was also one of the reason why we lost. U can't compete with an opponent like juventus if every year you arrive in March with half team destroyed phisically and half team that never started a match. But it's the cost to pay to see one of the best football, that is not only entertainment but improves the quality of the players. There will need time, in particular for the defenders: Maurizio works a lot on the defense, but his team defends in different way. Defenders like with Guardiola stay really far from the box and they always watch only the ball and not the man, also when defending on corner/free kicks (which cost us a lot of goals), reparts stay really close to each other and pressing all the match. He's very good to prepare set plays in his favor. He's nice, but he is very mediocre in communication, he loves find excuses. And he knows only the players who played for him/against him he cannot be the traditional manager who choose and buy players,he knows less players than any of you. We bought half team of Empoli, u maybe are going to buy Rugani (years ago was very promising, last year played few matches,i think could be good but not for 40 mln) and Higuain (this is going to be bad for you,60 mln for Higuain now is madness he is pathethic phisically,he's 31 but he runs like he's 36 and only for some months). Technically el Pipita is very strong, better than any of your striker. But he's the worst player of the serie A speaking about phisical condition, on his 2nd year in napoli he already had stopped to run on the field, juventus wanna sell him now cos they know next year his value will be very low. Higuain in 2 years is ready for China

Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed
Hi guys i'm a Napoli fan sorry for my intrusion, congratulation for your new coach. If possible just wanna tell you an opinion from one of the (few) fans that is ok with Sarri leaving my team. He's good coach, and a good person but I think he finished his 3 year job here. He took an incredible game system and mentality into our squad,if u consider him only from the point of view of the organization and the playstyle he can give to the team,he is seriously top manager. But he is lacking in various other things, I think because he miss experience at high level. He never played pro football and he coached all his career in the (very) low italian leagues, that is a nice and admirable thing, but he pays that in experience. I'm very curious to see him with you,and I'll support you next years for sure, but wanna see how he works with a superior team like you. He was terrible during all the time with us to rotate the team and to handle more than a competition,he's very good to build an 11 first team but when he finds the best starting team he is feared to change it,always. He's like an old style coach,a master during the training but a baby on the field, during the match, when u have to take istant decisions and change something. If u want I can make u different concrete examples... He's good, but not so good like I've read a little around
