BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
It is one thing to rightly acknowledge the contributions made by Roman Abramovich to Chelsea football. But he is no "victim." RA owes his fortune to an incredibly dangerous regime, and he could never have done so without the support for, and the support of, Tsar Putin. As Chelsea fans, we can "mourn" his departure, but we need to look past our own narrow perspective, and focus on the larger, and vastly more important issue: Russia must pay for the destruction of Ukraine. Dead children move me a great deal more than the ouster of a Russian multi-billionaire.

Nice win. I could tell that Pulisic was playing with greater confidence long before his goal. And that goal was like his finishes in days of old, diving in from the left side. As for the rest, Silva was a rock, Kante a phenom, and Havertz is still climbing. Somehow, though, it just seems like Lukaku's seven touches weren't missed. I know that he was a demon in Serie A, but when do we admit that his return to Chelsea was a <ahem> flop?

Christian Pulisic - Official
The keeper DID make a great stop, at times we have to look for explanations beyond the bias of "oh, he pooched that one." There are few young players who are as able as Pulisic to stay calm inside the box, and find clever things to do with the ball. He has assisted from inside, and scored. We can only hope Christian can maintain his health.

Christian Pulisic - Official
I agree. If Pulisic manages to stay healthy, put on a bit of meat, and find himself on a team - even Chelsea - that is willing to believe in him, that team will reap the rewards.

Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) Sun 2nd Jan 2021 16:30 GMT
I know that my comments about Christian Pulisic are likely discounted immediately because I am from L.A., but I was a Chelsea fan BEFORE I came. Sure, there are questions as to whether or not he will return to his form of 2 years ago - which was thrilling no matter your prejudices - but discounting his future would be a big mistake, IMHO.

Hmmmm, I think I catch your drift LOL. The kid is 23; do you remember being 23? He's not done yet.

Hello! Although fairly new to English Football, I was a Chelsea fan first, and then even more so when Christian Pulisic arrived. I know he is not nearly up to his old form, but I am still hopeful, and his tying goal against Liverpool was certainly a boost. Cheers.
