I wonder why one of our 'better' players on the night gets injured and another of our 'better' players on the night gets sent off! Potter is cursed I tell yer - cursed!

I think sacking him was a mistake too, he was simply suffering from one of the issues Potter has - average team, unfortunately for Potter its gotten even worse because none of our best players are even playing AND now it seems we can't seem to finish a game with 11 men!

How the f*ck can 10 first teamers out, a dogsh*te squad and Felix getting sent off be Potters fault!!!! He's only had 3 months with the team and NOT once has he been able to pick anything close to his best 11! Even then the best 11 are nothing special!!! If you want somebody to blame blame whoever has been in charge of purchasing players over the last 3 years! Even then we've had bans!

This EXACTLY, want somebody to blame? Blame whoever it was that has decided to waste hundreds of millions of pounds on sub-par players!

I think you've helped to highlight what our 'issues' are and it's not Potter! My fear is that we just keep blaming the manager and hire, sack, repeat - all the while the team just keeps getting worse and worse - a trend we had way back in the 1970's - and look where that got us! A trend only stopped by Bates when he refused to sack John Neal (a lot of so called Chelsea fans at the time were screaming for his head) - and look where that got us, back on an upward trajectory! A lesson from history that we MUST take heed of right now.

City, Arsenal, United and Spurs all thrashed Fulham 2-1, now we have a fully fit squad I expect us to win by 4 clear goals.

This EXACTLY! Honestly the team put out against City was SO inferior, do people think ANY manager in the world would outplay / outperform that Manchester City team with the players we had playing! We now have to play City away with our second string (and our first string is inferior to City's) I hope people realise this before jumping all over Potter!

Well Everton are worse than us! Thing is if Everton were playing City tonight I wouldn't rate their chances much either! Of course we all know that freak results can happen, of course we could even win this game HOWEVER if I had to bet my life savings on a result I'm sure you can imagine which way I'd be putting my money.

Compare this team with what City have on offer! LOL. Blaming Potter and sacking him will be the end of us though! None of these would get in the City team (with the exception of Silva if he was 10 years younger!). By the start of next season I hope that only Kovacic and Hutchinson from this lot are anywhere even close to the first team. Side note: Dave is a legend, I love the guy, I love the commitment he has given over the years, unfortunately he is NOT the Dave of old.

But why give Poch money and time when you're not prepared to give Tuchel/Potter money and time? Poch is NOT a better manager than either Tuchel or Potter. Changing the manager every 3 months will NOT improve the situation, it will make it worse. What will improve the situation is giving Potter money to buy his own players and time to turn things around. The problem has clearly been player recruitment, whoever has been making the decisions to buy Lukaku, Werner, Ziyech etc etc are to blame, a COLOSSAL wastage of a COLOSSAL amount of money.

A 3-0 thrashing at Leeds, losing to Southampton, this years whipping boys and a loss to minnows Zagreb along with scraping past West Ham and Everton was 'underperforming' Although arguably when looking at the team and subsequent results was it after all? Tuchel was suffering from the same issues Potter has been suffering from since - sh*te signings, bang average team.

NO club is an automatic 'top 6', ask Aston Villa or Nottingham Forest (both European Champions at some point), you're not 'top 6' because of the name of your club you're not 'top 6' unless you have a team that is among the best 6 in the country - we don't, we're not even close. I am old enough to remember when we weren't even 'top division' let alone 'top 6', don't believe for a moment that we can't fall further, believe me we certainly can. We MUST accept this fact or else we are going to get nothing but hurt, we are currently a 'mid-table' club and unless we accept this fact we are not going to be able to move forward.
