January 8, 20233 yr I'm gonna start my Thursday with a bowl full of cereal and tabasco sauce. The ensuing diarrhea will be better than watching another 90 mins of Potter ball.
January 8, 20233 yr Checking back I think 2006 was the last time we lost away to Fulham at Craven Cottage - but with the generosity we've offered opposition teams recently, barely mustering much of a challenge, I expect Fulham can't wait for the opportunity Thursday evening will likely bring!
January 8, 20233 yr Based on form, they should be the favourite. We desperately need a win and some confidence, happy to play on the counter if that's the best way to 3 points.
January 8, 20233 yr ....and to thnk we moaned about the World Cup stopping the premiership! I'd happily take Kane skying penalties again!
January 9, 20233 yr Kepa Chalobah Silva Badiashile Dave Zakaria Gallagher Carney Hutchinson DD Fofana Hall A 11 that (hopefully) will give a sh*t and try. Also it might well be time for Casadei to step in to midfield in place of one of the guys I put in. He seems to have some fire about him, but Potter has looked at several youth players and not been keen on him so far for some reason. Edited January 9, 20233 yr by axman2526
January 9, 20233 yr If we lose this game SURELY this has to be the end of this nightmare Potter story right? right?

Given Potter is half a season in to hit 5 year 60mill deal, and his staff were given similar length contracts then it may well cost 60mill to sack them and possibly another pay out if a replacement is coming directly from another club. If that is so you are getting to Enzo figures just to dismiss a manager, coaches and hire their replacements.

If this fraud continues to stay doesn’t matter what players we are bringing in because he will just ruin them all together

Sounds like another run is about to end, I can't see us winning given how poorly we attack and how easy we concede goals.
January 9, 20233 yr It's been long a time since we were in panic in these kind of games... The disappointment is there , I just hope the players feel the same because in the last game they looked like they don't give a f**k. I'd like to see this starting lineup: ------------- Kepa ------------- Azpi -- Silva --- Chalobah -- Hall ----- Zakaria --- Kovacic ----- Mount ---- Havertz ------ Carney ------------ Fofana --------- Some of the players here are very bad, but one bright move by them can give us something in the game. As I see from Potter's tactics we are going to play from behind no matter what, Kova or Zakaria have to push the team forward with power and dribbling ability. I don't believe that Fulham can have the same ability of pressing like City had against us. Even players like Jorginho failed to play under this press. We're getting into difficult days, but we still can figure it all out, we need our players to put more from them, show some desire, aggression, faith ! COME ON CHELS!!!
January 9, 20233 yr Will any fans organise the chant of potter out or Bohley out? or once again with the chant of Tuchel, Roman or even Jose?
January 9, 20233 yr even if they do its not going to change anything. more to the point these "fans" are either to young to remember pre roman or just there for the glory. yes we are far from the team we are so used to at the minute. we arnt good enough but sacking the manager or getting rid of the owner isn't going to solve this problem.

Have you seen the players we have available!!? You seriously think bringing in a new manager is going to turn them into title contenders!!? Really? Who EXACTLY is this magician waiting in the wings? January 9, 20233 yr What's the excuses that are going to be used when we're beaten by this lot examples they have better players, more settled manager , higher than us in the league, trust the process, but we have injuries, world cup break, learn to accept defeat, take your pick guys it won't be we have made an arse selecting a new manager and a pigs ear of transfer windows
January 9, 20233 yr Really hard to pick a team for this one - almost easier to name 11 players I dont want to see on the pitch at the moment. However, I would go for something like this: Kepa Azpi - Chalobah - Silva - Cucurella Zakaria Chukwu Kovacic Mount Havertz Fofana Chukwu and Kovacic to pull wide attackingly, but lack of width will be a concern regardless. However, I dont trust Ziyech and Hutchinson doesn't seem quite ready. If Sterling is fit I would probably change to a 4-3-3. More than formation and tactics though - show us some fight and leadership and just get the bloody win Edited January 9, 20233 yr by AndyDowsleftflank

January 9, 20233 yr Mitrovic is suspended for this one which is given me slight hope but again watching the hopeless performances in our past games makes me believe it won't change anything. Look how bad we were against Forest who are inferior team to Fulham. I hate when I see articles on our club websites from players stating "we need to improve." Today it was Chalobah. Last week it was Azpi/ Mount. Enough talking. Prove it on the pitch please.
January 9, 20233 yr I think we will win yet will be close. Above all don't let Willian turn on the edge of the box onto his right.
