For all the talk and speculation being leaked from new ownership, all I see is same old same old. Spending huge sums in areas we shouldn't. Stockpiling players in a position which isn't a priority of need. Ignoring fixing the major weaknesses in midfield and striker. We'll continue with a massive wage bill with new players who don't fit because blatant needs weren't addressed. The blame will cycle between players not being good enough and the manager being terrible. Then ultimately Potter will be replaced and the new manager will come in and say the 400M in signings weren't mine. Clueless.

No winger will do well until the midfield is fixed. We can't even pick out a forward pass. Priorities are all wrong. Everyone see Felix show his skill, play a ball to Mount and then make a beautiful run where he'd be 1v1 with the GK last match and instead of playing the ball back to Felix, Mount made a lazy side pass. Good example of our problems. We don't have mids who can connect the attack. Here ya go.

Lol. All of Mount, Kai, Pulisic, and Werner had important goals/assists during the journey to winning CL while still being younger players. And only one of them has had terrible form excused repeatedly while fans couldn't wait for Werner to get shipped out and now can't wait for Kai and Puli to get shipped out despite those two still being young. And Mount has been as bad or worse than Kai and Puli all season. Now if we expand beyond young players....Giroud wasn't good enough. Jorginho isn't good enough. Kova isn't good enough. Ziyech isn't good enough. Despite all contributing to the CL win run. I didn't bring up the English aspect but since you did, none of the other players everyone wanted shipped out or now want shipped out are English. And there's only one player across the midfield and attack whose done fook all all season who should not be shipped out. And he is English. Mr Mount.

I've seen people fry an egg with more ambition than Pecan Potter coaches a PL match. I don't know why but his personality reminds me of someone who just walked out of bible study.

You should watch him play. Not good enough. Only reason his name isn't mentioned in the clearout of the squad is because he's an academy product and people get caught up in their emotions and feelings like an old woman knitting socks by the fireplace with an apple cider.

Pecan Potter heading into the transfer market with an open tab at the bar will end in disaster. Just wait and see. One year from today we'll have 300M+ in new players, the Pecan will have been replaced and the new manager will say these signings weren't mine.

Most new managers at a club get a positive bump in results as they are a new voice. Not with Pecan Potter. We're bottom of the table in results since Oct. So don't tell me its because our players aren't good enough. They aren't good enough to win the league. But they are plenty good enough to get results in the PL. And giving Pecan Potter 250M to spend all willy nilly in the transfer market would be idiotic. What has he done to deserve that responsibility. All the massive spending has done F all for this club recently. Potter would just end up misusing the newest batch of expensive misfitting players. Everyone saying it's the players doesn't understand we don't use our current players correctly.

Boehly is acting like this is an American team tanking for a high draft pick.

Except all those players could contribute to a side better than 10th in the Prem.

Potter being an albatross doesn't negate Tuchel wasn't doing well and underachieving. But I'd say many of our players if they were on other teams would suddenly look better. So it again goes back to the manager and leadership. Team as a whole looks like they have no idea what the system is or what they're supposed to do.

When players across the board aren't playing up to their abilities, that's on the manager. Otherwise WTF does a manager do? He maximizes the players he has. It's not one player having a poor match. It's player after player match after match.

Player quality is only the issue when we're against a top 3-4 side. We keep getting steamrolled by sides with lesser player quality than us. That is the manager. And the higherups. Something is rotten. Smells like buttfungus.

I don't think the players respect Potter. That's how it looks. He might have already lost the team. At the same time the last thing we need is to go on manager number 3 over a 6 month period. The instability here is a constant problem. But there might be no escaping a mediocre manager in Potter either. Not good!

Then don't complain about players then not being good enough. As you're then only looking at players who don't want UCL. It's naive to think top players transfer to play for the badge. They play for the badge and say that when it's a top UCL side.

Our players aren't gonna want to stick around for this "new identity" to settle. As of now this new identity is a toasted crap sandwich. Also, top players aren't gonna want to come here when we're a mid table club and UCL isn't in the cards. Boehly doesn't seem to recognize all the fire power he wants in the transfer market won't come to a club outside the top 4. Top players will just go to other UCL clubs. Boehly seems to think he can rebuild Chelsea as if it were an American NBA team. Doesn't work that way here.

Scary thing is we're currently number 10 but trending DOWNWARDS and every other player is nursing an injury. That's another problem. WTF is our medical staff doing.
