Fulham v Chelsea (PL) Thur 12th Jan 2023 20:00 GMT
I'm gonna start my Thursday with a bowl full of cereal and tabasco sauce. The ensuing diarrhea will be better than watching another 90 mins of Potter ball.

Man City v Chelsea (FA) Sun 8th Jan 2023 16:30 GMT
I don't have a problem with the sacking of Tuchel. Team wasn't playing well and he has a shelf life. The problem was quickly settling on and committing to Pecan Potter when we any real search should have gotten a far better manager.

Should Graham Potter be sacked?
Players won't want to stick around for project rebuild where UCL is a pipe dream and a morgue has more life than our attack.

I have a good idea. Have Boehly get on the phone with Benfica and lowball Enzo again.

Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager
I can't get over how lifeless the attack looks. Sides with half our wage bill generate many more chances. Sure everyone wants better players at times but that ain't the problem here. Our players across the board are not playing to near their talent level. We play like our manager is a tutu wearing yoga instructor who wants to focus on deep breaths and finding your inner peace.

Potter would turn a viking into a vegan. The mentality of the squad is off.

This is more the manager than the players. The team is now reflecting the personality of the manager. Imagine sitting at a table and everyone is eating ribeye and lobster. And there is one precious little cupcake eating a salad with tomato and cucumber. That precious little cupcake would be Potter.

He has looked better. But doesn't matter who we put in the front 3 until we add some creativity to the midfield. We create fewer 1v1 situations for our attackers than half the league.

This Enzo situation is one of the most embarrassing I've ever seen. Incompetent. Incoherent. Disrespectful towards Enzo himself too.

Nottingham Forest v Chelsea (PL) Sun 1st Jan 2023 16:30 GMT
I question Potter but it's the medical staff who would've cleared Reece, not Potter you dunce. And no one is gonna give a RB 45 mins to get fit and then sub them at half. Not how it works. It's not a friendly in July. You either get the green light from the medical staff as fit or you don't. Happy New Year. Now go sit in the corner and pipe down.

Reece James
Was he rushed back ahead of time.

Chelsea v Bournemouth (PL) Tues 27th Dec 2022 17:30 GMT
About time we see Puli and Sterling starting together. Took long enough FFS.
-
Mason Mount
He is not a quality player at this point. Never had much attacking prowess or attributes aside from set pieces. But now doesn't even positively impact the flow of the game.

It did occur to me he was the best Chelsea player on the pitch yesterday.

It's a good question. It's like they both coach scared. It's not by chance they keep numbers back. It's not by chance our mids won't look for the forward ball. You watch Sterling & Pulisic off the ball? They regularly try to make runs in behind and the pass never comes. We're also slow in transition. I don't get it. Countless other clubs pounce on a turnover and quickly get numbers forward on the counter. All this is why it seems to me we produce far less good opportunities. Which reduces our margin for error. Why does a club like Newcastle look so much more threatening and coherent? No one here would say on the face if it Almiron is Chelsea quality. But he's producing at a higher level than any of our attackers. That tells me a lot is the system and the manager. If Almiron came to Chelsea he'd look worse. And if a Sterling or Pulisic or Havertz went to Newcastle they'd look better. Once people accept that then red flags go up all over.

People keep blaming the players. Yet side after side looks superior and more coherent than us who have lesser players. Newcastle being the latest. It's night and day. I do think the roster is lopsided and we've spent too much in certain areas and not enough in others. Midfield should be the biggest focus along with striker. But these players we do have are better than they're showing as a unit collectively. And if and when they move on to other clubs their talent will show again.

Chelsea v Arsenal (PL) Sun 6th Nov 2022 12:00 GMT
Mount has 2 goals and 1 assist from open play in 44 matches vs the Big 6 clubs and he's cemented in an attacking position. Why he's not labeled as not good enough along with the others is curious.

Man City v Chelsea (LC) Wed 9th Nov 2022 20:00 GMT
I can't be the only one noticing a factor we're seeing is players look tired because of lack of rotation. There is no full strength squad at this point as guys have no legs.
-
Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager
Constantly blaming the quality of our players is lazy analysis. It's the use of them which is the main problem. Potter is also horrendous at squad rotation. So far he just doesn't get it. Despite my criticism of Sterling and Mount I will say in defending them, they have been ran into the ground. They look well beyond tired. Mount is literally falling over the ball. Sterling can't dribble past my grandma. They both are in poor form but lack of legs is not helping at all.

Chelsea v Arsenal (PL) Sun 6th Nov 2022 12:00 GMT
The oddest thing about Potter is when players show well, particularly as they have in midweek games it's like he gets amnesia, forgets about it and goes right back to what hasn't worked at the weekend. I can't explain it since he has the best seat in the house. So he might experiment on Wednesday and others might show well. But next weekend he'll go right back to the player selection which got steamrolled today. 🙃

No he looked arguably our most lively attacker for a couple games before Pecan Potter decided to play him at RWB.

I don't care about the last couple of years. I care about the last couple of months. And right now Pulisic looks better than Sterling and Mount.

MOTM vs Arsenal (H) (PL)
Potter won MOTM on the Arsenal boards as he managed the match like he was on their payroll.

Man City v Chelsea (LC) Wed 9th Nov 2022 20:00 GMT
If I was the captain of the ship I am retiring Sterling and Mount as attackers for the time being and giving others a run of games. Those two have now had months to find their form and do something and have done fook all with it. It is not working on any level. Don't tell me they just need another week. Neither has the quality at this point. Work Mount into the mid rotation where he belongs and put Sterling on the bench. Sterling btw plays like he's 34 and Auba plays like he's 44. That another problem. We just look old compared to others. At least Pulisic shows some ambition when he gets a shot.

Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea Manager
Mount? What is he doing that I am not seeing? He's not even average in the run of play. He's a mid with a high work rate and good set piece delivery being played out of position as an attacker.
