  1. This is the level of manager we expect at Chelsea Football Club. This is how we need to behave, that's much more like it. Just got to hope that we give him enough time, backing and our full support. I know that we the supporters can do that for sure! Make no mistake this is a manager who was obviously an elite player which will help in the dressing room to no end. He is absolutely capable of winning the highest honours for us if he gets the right support. Welcome gaffer we are all behind you and so excited to see what we can achieve together.
  2. Happy birthday mate hope you're having a great day and that we make it happen for you
  3. Been so excited for this. Nice for all of us to have that feeling after a crap season. One-off game, anything can happen. I believe. Come on Chels!!

Need a manager who can come in, lay down the law, give the players a boot up the backside (literally, I hope) and remind everyone what this club is supposed to be. Simeone or Enrique would be the best at doing all of that. Simeone in particular appeals to me massively, we have always done well under managers with similar playing styles and personalities to his. He would be genuinely amazing to have.

Cannot believe I am saying this, but I can see Gary O'Neil in our future. Really hope not but I wouldn't put it past this board... If we had anything about us, we'd go all in for Enrique this summer. They will not do that, and we'll end up with some nobody with a "point to prove" again.
  6. Awful owners, terrible decisions. This is where it has all got us. Club is unrecognisable from top to bottom. This is genuinely torture. Worst part is the supporters will all be here long after they are all gone, of course. We are the ones who will suffer the most. Absolutely heartbreaking.
  7. Got to go tonight and can take the owners with him. Gutted everything that makes CFC great and laughing at the supporters while doing so. c**ts
  8. Love him from the way he has spoken and conducted himself so far. Seems like a man with a plan, just hope he is backed enough to execute it. Come in, made himself likeable by showing respect to the club, its supporters and history. Knows exactly what the standards are at CFC and is making that clear. Really want it to work out with him.
  9. Cucu rattling that fella so well haha get in Marc
  10. Really am so lucky to be 21st century CFC supporter. Very nice to see us back in finals on a regular basis... I would love it if we kept this up into next season lol
  11. Tell you what I'd really love to win this now. It's a trophy no matter what its level of prestige is, and it's a huge statement of intent against the best team in the world last season. Just need to try and see this out, changes please Enzo.
  12. Absolutely delighted to see us sign a proper striker with PL experience and a few goals in a terrible side. I think he'll do well with service, though giving him the no. 9 makes me a bit nervous as I grew up during the era when the curse seemed to be at its peak! Seriously though, very happy to have this boy in. Looks strong and physical and that's what we like in our strikers.
  13. Over the moon with our trophy win, so for me personally, tonight is not the time to think about his future. But I do agree that the team did not win because of him or his tactics tonight! Just enjoying the occasion as much as I can, we've made history. Conquerors of Europe.
  14. After tonight I could be able to say that I have seen my beloved club win every UEFA competition at least once. I want to be able to say that. This football club has had a winning culture and mentality my whole life, and we need to make a return to those standards ASAP. CFC's ehtos has at times helped me to hold myself to a higher standard as a human being when I have felt low and that means the world to me. I acknowledge that I have had such a privileged time as a supporter growing up in our greatest ever era. I wouldn't swap this club for any other in the world and I will follow us for the rest of my life no matter where we go. This match has really sparked something in me and there is so much riding on it that I can't put into words. I have never felt so nervous before a final and it's a strange feeling to me. We simply have to win it to prove the world wrong. COYB!
  15. One thing I can say is that if Carlo came in his eyebrow would fly off his f**king face after the first training session with the way we are right now.
  16. Said this yesterday but he'll have a fire in his belly after what has just happened to him. He'd have a young, hungry and impressionable squad here that is basically begging for an experienced leader with a firm guiding hand. He could mould this team in his image and probably make us the most versatile side in the country. If we do not get this man in then these owners are completely hopeless.
  17. Pathetic tonight. Nowhere near up to the level this club calls for. It's not just the manager that would need the boot, whole management structure would need purging. So angry tonight. We'd be lucky to get Steve Cooper in with this clueless ownership.
  18. Eddie Howe would also be a great pick for us, but his Newcastle project is just starting to really take off, so there is no way he leaves at the moment.
  19. Carlo in for sure. All day, every day. Elite mentality, proven winner. Old school boss, already a hero for this football club. He has unfinished business here, and he will want to prove the world wrong, just like we want to. He is the second-greatest fit for a modern Chelsea manager, after Jose. Both embody everything that we want and need.
  20. This is exactly it. Poch is the one I would have given time to, other than Super TT of course. Poch ended his season strongly, is a proven project builder, and in my opinion he deserved a crack at the Europa Conference. It just seemed to be clicking when he was sacked. The way it's looking, I don't think binning him off has helped us make any progress.
  21. Hi everyone, just popping in after a long time away, though don't expect to be remembered as I didn't post much... Anyway, the current state of CFC is once again quite concerning, so I just want to say my piece on the Head Coach. First off, I'm not a massive fan of Pepball and the dozens of clones it has spawned. I think I've been overexposed to it for years now. I just think it's overdone, quite boring and I believe the signs are starting to show in terms of it having had its day in the sun. I'm quite neutral on Maresca himself. Don't love him, don't hate him. Hasn't been helped by our inconsistent transfer strategy, but he hasn't helped himself either. He's got his Plan A and that's it, and the issue with said Plan A is that it exposes all of our major weaknesses when it goes wrong. We have only got one style of play from what I am seeing. This is Chelsea Football Club. For a club of our size, for the transfer fees we dish out, and the wages EM is most definitely on, we should be able to play in whatever style a game might call for at any given moment. Both the players and the Head Coach should be more than comfortable with a switch up in play style at any given time - this is Premier League football halfway through the 2020s. I appreciate that it's looking likely he'll be able to get us back into the top six, and call me entitled, but that's not good enough for this club. Nothing against him but I'm not sure if he should be our long term answer. Hope he proves me wrong. He's not the only problem but he is far from blameless.
  22. My old man reckons it will be Allegri for Man U... I said Xavi. Either way, could this not have waited until after our game??? Sigh.
  23. ...Cole Palmer is the best football player in the world
  24. Yeah... Great to see him extend but what is it with these deals? The way things are going, the PL may not even be around in 9 years! 🤣
  25. Agree with pretty much all of what you have said mate. Things may look completely bonkers, and to be fair at times it is, but we have some great talent on the books and we're always picking up young lads with a lot of potential. If even a handful of them can come good, things will be looking up. I really believe that we, with this squad, will win the UEFA Conference this year which should keep the fanbase happy- it's the only European trophy we haven't won and it'd be great to complete the collection! But yeah, to be honest I'm not really bothered about who owns the club as long as they have CFC's best interests at heart and they understand that we should be competing for major honours each year.
