Emanuel Emegha
Fair point; I have caught a few Strasbourg games since we became affiliated with them, and like I said French friends don’t think he is an outstanding forward. Data was to add context.

Are you sure about this? Ekitike at 20yrs was signed by PSG. My French friends say he is very raw, even Jackson was a bit more polished when we bought him. Chelsea have released media briefings saying they think he could be worth £50m+ very soon, discounting the fact that Jackson who played 2 full seasons as our undisputed No 9 struggled to attract a single bid. They have been spooked by the €27m bid from West Ham, and interest from Villa & Juve. The big problem with this move is when he comes here he will be 23yrs and 3 choice behind Delap & Pedro, how is he going to see enough minutes to develop? The briefings about Pedro not exactly being a No 9 discounts the fact that his solid start means he is undroppable. This guy is no way ready for a serious Top PL team, he needs loads of mins away at a lower level. If this guy was deemed not good enough and hounded out, Emegha has zero chance. Bar his shooting, I am struggling to see it.

Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2025/26
0 goals • 0 assists • 0/1 dribbles • 1/5 crosses • 0/3 ground duels won • 1/4 aerial duels won • 14x possession lost When you pay £115m for a player, surely he should look class out of the box. Seems a lot of PL clubs are just taking wild punts in the market.

Jamie Gittens joins Chelsea
Something/someone has to give; we have £45m Quenda joining from Sporting next season.
-
Romeo Lavia
Makes you wonder if like Enciso the club knew he was injury prone and still took the risk.

Jamie Gittens joins Chelsea
To where though? And on those wages? No decent side would be interested, and we will have to pick a large chunk of his wages wherever he goes.

Is that Gittens again? How are you offside with your team in possession?

Not even sure Garnacho is the answer; our style of football is way different from the Utd’s he is used to. He is also another one that needs space behind to exploit, which he isn’t going to get here.

Very ugly.. Too slow in transition which hampers the wingers

He has always been a good player, but he has stepped it up.

Waste of time; should have just started George out wide. Gittens looks lost.

3 actually. No idea why he is starting Fofana ahead of Josh, we all know the former can break down at any min.

Early days but I think he will be brilliant for them.

😂.. always said they sold him way too soon. There is a bloody good player there despite what our fanbase might think.

How long before the club says they made a mistake? They are not buying him to play him, just to prevent him from going elsewhere.

Nicolas Jackson - striker
Sounds good in theory but would never work. There is no CL carrying 3 CFs anymore, even 2 quality ones presently is a struggle. Bayern only have Kane & Jackson on loan, Madrid have Mbappe & their youth forward Garcia, City have Halaand & Mammoush, Barcelona have an ageing Lewandowski & Ferran Torres. Liverpool are an anomaly with expensive CFs Isak & Ekitike, but I can guarantee in 2yrs time one of them will be looking for a move elsewhere. That is the timeline for when a quality CF gets tired of playing backup.
-
Tyrique George
There is little chance he would pull the same trick in the CL this year, key players won’t sit out on the biggest stage. His team selection will be based on the opposition strength, so you would expect Hato, Josh, Santos & Gittens for example to start v Qarabag for example.

Doesn’t work that way in reality. You are not going to keep rotating your £40m buys to get that efficiency, you will stick with the best of your bad bunch. So if Garnacho is the better of the 2, he might get 7 league goals and Gittens 4 league goals. Something no one keeps mentioning with this 2 is we had Madueke on £50k/w who was after a delayed contract improvement that would have bumped him to around £100k/w. Instead we have bought both Gittens & Garnacho & stuck both on £100k/w each.

Tommy Tuchel - England Manager
Some fans wanted us to drop £80m+ on him this summer. His performances have been very poor for Villa, and he is a prime reason why they are at the bottom of the table

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
there will be news about a new potential Chelsea sleeve sponsor. Still now FOS sponsor a month into the season, expect another media drop about the competitive process.
