John Terry aint going no where doo da doo da!!

Just looking around the good ol' internet for any glimpse of a marquee signing. I didn't quite find what I was looking for but I did come across the possibility that promising England u21 Adam Johnson could be a target for the club. I'm all for English talent, I'd be happy if we could provide this young man with some top level football. He looked great in the uefa tournanment, always taking on his man looking dangerous on the left side. I would welcome his move to our legendary club, how does everyone else feel?

This whole talk of "marquee name" is doing my head in, oh the suspence! :( You make a good point Yes please! I'm not sure who it shall be but I am certain we will end up bringing in some more fire power before all is said and done. I am one of those who hold the opinion that we probably have more than enought to secure the league. I have heard rumor that Bayern have set a price tag in the 60million pound region. I have a feeling that Ribery is going to move and it will come down to us or Real. Who is going to splash the cash? Does anybody here want us to get into a bid war with Real? Does anyone feel he is worth that much dosh?

I really hope we some how manage to get our hands on Kun Aguerro. I don't see it happening but here is hoping right? He is young and I think he would fit the English game well with his style of play. We probably have enough right now to take the league next season but we have to start building the future because a few legs will be starting to slow down in our squad. Very pleased to see we got Zhirkov, Hope he turns out.

This is crazy talk, why would we sell Bosingwa? Bos is one of the top 5 Wing-Backs in the game. I heard the talk on here about sweetening the deal for the likes of Ribery with Johnson comming in as a replacement. Johnson is playing for Loserpool and Ribery is not comming. Mancienne looks to be a quality player in top flight footbal but it would be a little early to put that kind of pressure on him. Lahm plays on the left side, and in my opinion is probably tied for the best with Sergio Ramos. To have both of those players on either side would be a nightmare for opponents, too bad it won't happen Bayern :lol:

Now that is thinking outside of the box. Did we really look after our young talented player?, or did we chuck em' because we thought he was sh*t? Either way he has been playing brilliantly for England. Hopefully it isn't a case of looking world class against lesser opposition. Would be nice to have more English talent in the squad.

Deco can jog as far as I'm concerned. I might get shot for this but the weak link in our D is Ashley Cole. He can run up and down the wing like a man possessed, can't cross and has dodgy marking at times. Bratislav Ivanovic more than proved himself when asked to step up. I would be devistated to see him go, he might be another Vidic. Only thing I can say for sure is that we need another top man on the wing, and another solid striker. Who I'd like to see come to Chelsea: Kun Aguero, Ribery(won't happen), Pato, Jaoquin(not even up for grabs).

Arjen Robben, Jenny will be brilliant for the 4 matches he features. A player with loads of talent but plagued with injury issues. I suppose I wouldn't be opposed to Robben if it were for a considerably low price. We do need a little pace down the wing.

Philip Lahm, that would be a dream, My number one Wing Back! Bosingwa to Bayern?? only for Ribery, but this seriously won't happen. We are better off focusing on players that will realistically come to the Bridge. I wonder why we didn't get our hands on Joaquin Sanchez Rodriguez when we had the chance. All I ask this transfer period is that we get Aguero.

Greetings from a English/Canadian Blue. I like the idea of signing Aguero, he looks to be a major force in the future. David Villa is brilliant but I just don't see him comming over to the bridge. He seems keen to stay in Espana, and Real will probably swoop him up. Signing the likes of Ribery has the makings of a costly disaster. Our Midfield with all players healthy are strong enough to shut down who ever they'd like(Barcelona) on any given night. I feel we still need one more world class striker to see us to the top of the Prem next season, and get us back in the CL final. Add a little bit of luck, we should be fine! KaKa anyone? Make it happen Ancelotti!
