I never thought I'd say this. At the beginning of Roman's era, when there were rumblings that we might be moving, I was totally against it. I mean, Stamford Bridge is the home of many memories. A new stadium just wouldn't be the same. But for the past few seasons now, I have been slowly changing my view. You look at all the big clubs in England and around Europe and compare Stamford Bridge with what they've got (a few notables having moved recently, e.g. Bayern, Arsenal) and you can see that we cannot really compete (in the long term). There may be arguments that we might not be able to fill a larger stadium but I cannot comprehend that one. And if we continue our success on the field, our fan base is going to continue growing. We cannot become the best club in the world if we continue to live at Stamford Bridge. That's the economics side of it. From the footballing side (and aesthetics), the Stamford Bridge pitch, it seems to me, to be beyond repair. Again, for a side of our aspirations, not having an immaculate pitch to play on at home just doesn't feel right. And the amount of money we're ploughing into stop-gap measures is a shame. Though I'd be sorry to see us leave Stamford Bridge, I think it is the way forward. Samsung Arsena anyone? Cheers, Butch

Sorry I'm a bit late but anyway just a few suggestions. If you're running Windows (of any flavor) God help you ; seriously, though, what I would do is to always save a duplicate copy of all non-system files (e.g. word documents, excel files, photos, pictures, music, etc...) on a CD. Actually, keep in mind that CD's do not last forever (but then, what does). I see more and more people now using portable hard drives (e.g. USB) for all their files (but not for the operating system). I use a Mac now, and if you ever decide to change to a new computer, I would highly recommend one to you. But although I've also been able to get my dad and one of my brothers to switch, they still have a PC that is used in the household and I still have to provide tech support for it. Simply put, I've had to update Windows religiously (service pack upon service pack) plus 3 anti-spyware programs and a good antivirus program. Just having them is not enough either; you have to keep them updated and use them every once in a while to scan and repair. Even after all this, the computer will slowly get bogged down, particularly with spyware (or let's say malware). If your computer takes more than 5 minutes to boot up, you know you've got a problem. And soon, you will need to start over again (format hard drive and re-install everything) to get rid of the problem. It's awful, but that is what you have to be ready to do and that is why it is so important for you to keep back up copies of all your "important" files. Since I moved over to the Mac (about 4 years now)? I've had to reboot twice and haven't had to re-install anything (knock, knock). We'll have to see what Windows Vista brings to the table in terms of security, but as far as I can tell, compatibility is not very good at the moment (Microsoft is keeping tighter wraps on what software can do to the system to try and make it stable and secure). So, if you want to go that route, be sure and check that Vista is compatible with whatever hardware you may be using, i.e. MP3 player, phone, PDA, etc... Back up, back up, back up... Cheers, Butch

Lampard is my all time favorite Chelsea player and I can't stand anyone criticizing him, but my goodness he is really off form. Sure, he still does some of the basic things in the midfield well, such as closing people down and offering outlets, etc..., but the things he used to do that classed him above the rest, such as get into scoring positions, put in pin point free kicks, and hit the target from long range are simply not there anymore. As such, he is a very ordinary midfielder at the moment. We need him to step up in the Mestalla for sure. Cheers, Butch

What has been made abundantly clear from the second leg against Porto and this first leg against Valencia, where their keepers have been nothing if not dodgy, is that we definitely lack quality crosses going into the box, whether it be from corners, set pieces or open play. With the size of the players we have and our superior heading ability, we should be worrying defenses much more than we currently are. Lampard, Robben, SWP - you name them and I will tell you that the quality of balls into the box is absolutely atrocious. Valencia were much more threatening than I thought they would be, with Silva being an especially important thorn in our side throughout (and what a goal), but we were poor in attack. Our decision making was poor - shots when we should have passed. It's been a problem all season long. Our biggest threat was Drogba when we turned to the direct balls over the top to our big hitman. Valencia were struggling to cope. But the passes were not consistently accurate and the support was not there (Valencia's midfield defended well), meaning we couldn't make better use of Didier's physique. But how on earth did the ref let play go on when Sheva was clotheslined inside their penalty area in that first half?! I couldn't believe it! Cheers, Butch
