You can go to L Essien . I like Deportivo and Chelsea FC only teams. I hate more than you, Barca and Madrid and I dont like Spurs and Man United ( hate them). Against Arsenal, as far as I am concerned unless they are above of us I dont bother too much, and Liverpool, they dont bother me either.

to alf: Gerrard almost 30 years , Lampard 32 and Essien 26 or 27. I will put 50 mill for Essien, 25 for Gerrard and 20 for Lampard. Essien still in his peak Lampard and Gerrard are going down. I am agree with you Sheva because we got stick from the torres topic and also Alf, this one is for you. Gerrard plays in a different position to Essien, and Essien is my favourite player at Chelsea and also a WORLD CLASS MIDFIELD PLAYER, PROBABLY IF I HATED CHELSEA (LETS IMAGINE THAT) AND I WANTED TO DESTROY THEM AND HURT THEM I WOULD DEFINETLY GO FOR ESSIEN AND I WOULD SPLASH THE MONEY. Essien is unbelievable good and it is now when he doesnt play when you realise how important is he to the team. So alf there is no point, to compare Gerrard and Essien, play different positions and different roles for their teams. You can say, Cesc in very good at what he does, but Essien is as good as Fabregas in what his role is. Cesc couldnt play like Essien and viceversa. They are different players with different roles

To Alf, you have to understand and realise what an awful season he is having, as lamps. Here I am a fair person. Yesterday Watching pool man united, they said is more than a year that Gerrard doesnt score away for pool. Steve is close to thirty, to me his best years are gone. Now guys let me tell you something, you can disagree with alf, but he is entiteld to express his opinions. Alf I dont think we should go for gerrard for those reasons. If you want my opinion, Cesc Fabregas alongside Essien and Lampard sounds great. But our chances of getting Fabregas are few if not none. Imagine that we have Essien, Cesc, Silva and Lamps. I bet you that our strikers would score goals for fun.The problem we have at the moment is that our midfielders are not helping to the cause, they are too tired or drunk or I dont know

Loz, there is always a spine on the team, but right now, I cant remember anything like this before. Jose untouchables: Cech, he was brilliant, Terry same, Ricky that was the superb ricky, Lampard what a season, makelele, Drogba. Then when robben was available he used to play, then sometimes Duff sometimes Cole, the weakness was our right back. Honestly If you compare between then and now........., Here we are, with lampard badly, terry getting better now, Cech injured, ricky for two season I dont know how many games he missed, Ballack awful,slowing down the tempo all time, Joe Cole not the same player, Malouda has to be first choice..., anelka for almost three moths without a goal,Paulo ferreira badly on the right yesterday, didnt make anything going forward and guilty on the goal, he gave the ball away many times. What is the standard of our performances this season? six out of ten.

If you dont take direction and comand respect, if you dont say with your actions if you dont perform you will be dropped, if you dont make changes when they are needed, then why on earth will you be managing Chelsea? then sacked him. Carlo is in a position when he has to take authority, to put some fear on some stablish players. Come on he has nothing to lose. no doubt he is a class player, however he is in a direct competition with lamps, they are working hard to see which one makes a worst season. So that put me off interest bringing Gerrard here. If you could talk to him and ask him why is he performing so badly? maybe is just Liverpool at the moment, they are in real trouble. Hi everyone. I post this topic as I believe we need changes in midfield positions.I think we have a biggest problem in midfield that up front at the moment. You can choose between your two first preferences, so more than two no please. Anyone can suggest one dream player, but please choose players available to sign for Chelsea. This would be my choices: James Milner and Jack Roedle, English players. young and hot prospects. My dream for midfield would be David Silva, but it is going to be very very difficult to get him here, Valencia will be in Champions next year and Madrid and Barca are crazy about him.

Up front have to play Malouda and Drogba now on the right who knows.... kalou didnt work yesterday,Joe Cole I dont know...I wouldnt put him so that leaves Kakuta behind two strikers or on the right wing.

Agree with you. Guys I think is more a problem in midfield rather than up front. Milner would be one of my signings for sure.

At least with this team up front, we will have pace and wingers able to beat on defenders and put some decent crosses. The only one doing this at the moment is Malouda. About Midfield well at least fresh legs to move the ball quicker that the lamps and ballack at the moment. Worst that the run we are in at the moment is impossible. If we create 39 chances without a goal, at least we had improved on something, creating chances.

Cech or Turnbull, Jeffrey Bruma, Alex, Terry, Zhirkov, Mikel, Matic, Deco, Malouda, Drogba and Kakuta. That is my team. Changes are needed, maybe frank needs a rest. joe cole showed against Inter what is his current form. so no disrespect to the lad but he doesnt deserve to be in the line up.
