Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2023/24
In fairness, we have had Liverpool and city away in that time (wolves defeat is rightly regarded badly by all). That has coincided with Utd winning four in a row…and they have been very flattered by that run. the weird thing is, as bad as we have been at times, I still think we have had more games where we have genuinely played well this season compared to Utd. What they have had over us is a remarkable ability to win games they don’t deserve to and the amount of late goals.

Another sponny win for Utd…ref bottled a blatant red as well.

Great result and performance to disappoint the moaners…my word this place is drowning in negativity. come on you Blues!

They were but playing much better than Utd this season. Look at the hype over them getting a lucky win over Villa from the Utd pundits…

They actually played well from the part of the game I saw, far better than Utd and the way they played against us…just wasted chance after chance and Utd hit them with a sucker punch. The hype from gary Neville and his sky mates is unbelievable…they should be renamed ‘papering over the cracks fc’.

Not watched the whole game but is this another game utd are winning that they don’t deserve to? It’s remarkable such a sh*t team are as high as they are in the table. They deserve to be where we are.

Surprised no-one has mentioned how once again, after being ridiculously overhyped since the Aussie took over, sp*rs are going another season without a trophy. It’s just what they are…mate.

We can’t deny Liverpool are a good team but the toughest challenge we will face is beating their sponniness…Fulham have been the better team in this tie but trail 3-1. That Diaz goal is the only shot they’ve had tonight and took a bad deflection, which Leno still should have saved.

Chelsea (0) vs (1) Teeside-Boro (League Cup) Tue 23rd Jan 24 20:00 GMT
Yep they were celebrating like they were already at Wembley at the riverside…I remember leaving thinking ‘you do know there is a second leg at sb right?’ reminded me of tromso - almost as far too 😂

Sky crew can barely hide their disappointment…not a word of praise at half-time for that demolition job. Jimmy and Schwarzer, perhaps understandably, got their boro hats on. Karen Carney was disappointed with chelsea 😂

Must admit I’m enjoying the Newcastle meltdown. Gave it the big un too much too soon when winning for five minutes (no trophies as per) and now it’s going wrong, they’re moaning about injuries and FFP being unfair against them. we’ve had sh*tload of injuries from day one and not had one bit of sympathy. It’s amusing to see them below us in the table (for now at least).

Didn’t look like scoring until a sponny deflection. Fulham blew chances to extend the lead. Small margins.

As I was saying…luckiest team on the planet.

Raheem Sterling signs for Chelsea
I think Sterling sums up how many fans feel about chelsea as a whole…most have not forgotten what happened last season and so every time he/they play badly the same negativity returns. but if you take the preconception away and just judge him on his form this season, he is actually having a pretty good time of it. Seven goals and six assists in 22 appearances is a good return. Obviously he is not worth the wages he’s on…but I don’t think he can be accused of just going through the motions and picking up his pay check. He does seem to give a sh*t. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t give a toss about beating Preston, but he was one of the better players. even against wolves, where everyone will rightly remember how he stuffed up a 3 on 1, he was still one of Chelsea’s better players on the day and ended up providing an assist for Nkunku after stuffing up.

This is kind of my take. On one hand I find arsenal imploding hilarious. On the other, I can’t believe there is a more sponny side in history than Liverpool. It’s so annoying how many games they get away with.

Chelsea v Preston NE (FA Cup) Sat 6th Jan 24 17:30 GMT
I remember he was good during our cup winners cup campaign on channel 5 in 98…his commentary on Vialli in tromso was hilariously good. But he’s a right misery now. Kept saying how harsh the scoreline was on Preston as chelsea missed chance after chance. but the reason I flagged his point on var was that he was moaning about it only to be proved wrong that enzo was offside for his goal, therefore actually proving why the technology should be there. That is not to say it should have taken three minutes to draw a simple line across the pitch.

Chelsea v Preston NE (FA Cup) Sat 6th Jan 24 17:30 GMT
The amusing thing about Pearce’s performance on COMMS tonight - one of many - is that he instantly said enzo was way offside, only to be proved wrong. He also amusingly said earlier Broja should go off and sterling play down the middle. Don’t think sterling would have scored with that header if that had happened.

Chelsea v Preston NE (FA Cup) Sat 6th Jan 24 17:30 GMT
Didn’t understood all the doom and gloom at half time that I was seeing on social media. It’s like people haven’t seen an fa cup tie before. Preston were always going to give it a go and we still should have been at least 2-0 up with clear-cut chances for palmer and enzo. In the end we could have easily won by eight. Just feels like people watch chelsea games now ready to moan from the very first minute.

Malo Gusto to Chelsea
Should be livramento playing as cover for James but that was a mistake made by previous regime. At least the new lot seem to have bought good back-up…james must know he has genuine competition for when he’s fit too.

Utd done well to come back but couldn’t help but think ‘if this was chelsea’ as the second half unfolded…eg Villa score that Bailey and mcginn chance against us…the deflection for garnacho’s second would have gone just wide if it was us and the ball would not have deflected perfectly for Hojlund if he was wearing a chelsea shirt for the winner…we aren’t very good but we’re not very lucky either

Chelsea v Newcastle Upon-Tyne United (LC) Tuesday 19th December 2023 20:00 GMT
Popular misconception. He will only cost that much if chelsea win premier leagues/champions leagues…not something club have to worry about for a while and obviously won’t complain if they do 😂
