SIGNED ... Having went through treatment for Orophangeal cancer (had same HPV virus that causes Cervical cancer) and had 2 Chemo and 30 radiotherapy sessions, have got the all clear for the moment and i'm now just starting to feel normal again (managed to get to Goodison for Everton away), whilst i was in hospital met a few who had cancer and it was an absolute tragedy to see youngsters having to face up to this horrible disease ... please share

Does anyone have the feeling that something isn't quite right at the club just now ... no real marquee signing, arguments with Eva, JT subbed and the general malaise of our players ... Hazard been anonymous so far, fabregas quiet, no created chances for Costa.. just feels to me that there is something going on in the background and it's affecting the players ... any thoughts ?

Looks like a great signing .. he'll be hoping to push Thibault all the way which is good and once again we have two top class keepers .. now for a couple of more signings

Think we defo need to have a young British / English forward as one of the main three, It seems like we are producing youngsters but not to the quality that Jose or the 1st team need which is surely a fault by us .. whilst it's good to be able to splash cash on marquee signings I'm sure we would all like to see youngsters being brought through the ranks and filling squad places for years to come (although we do some to get a fair return on any outlays for ones we move on)

Today's match showed the urgent need to bring some new strikers to the bridge for next year .. Costa with dodgy hamstring(s) they must be too short , Loic Remy (who i like) but is obviously made of glass and the legend who's time has come are not the answer. What do you guy's think about the situation ? and would someone like Charlie Austin be a shout and wouldn't cost mega bucks, the return of Patrick Bamford possibly as 3rd striker or will we blow millions on some import. We need to have a plan A, B & C sorted so that we are not as vulnerable as we were today .. god it was close.

Result was a fair reflection in my opinion, Atletico played a Mourhino way whilst we didnt have the players to respond to that ... Hazard was clearly not fit or .... not interested (PSG next year perhaps) and the midfield had no leader / link to Torres up front ... Matic is a huge huge miss in our team, Dave gave everything in an unfamiliar position, Etoo was brought on to early and gave away a penalty no arguements there and as soon as they scored two it was game over. To move forward the team needs a few players, whether the loanees are good enough to come back Jose will know but i'm sure Lukaku should return and Courtois should take over from cech now he proved he has the quality and ability last night in buckets.. I personally wouldnt have Diego Costa and i think he showed by his attitude over the two games he doesnt want to come to us ... i would however have Koke. It's gonna be an interesting time over the summer but i'm confident we will get the players that Jose wants and we have a few great youngsters as well that will enhance our chances of increasing our performance levels to the required standard.

Wasn't going to comment on this but hey ho here's my opinion anyways ... whilst i liked Mata i always felt there was something missing in his overall game performance ... he had/has a lack of pace and was very labourious getting back and even going forward sometimes, his attributes were good interplay with others (when he was in a position to do so) and crackin at dead ball situations in around the box. Overall, Jose obviously couldn't find any way to play Juan in the team or just didn't like him personally, which i dont believe. The price at 37m is a fantastic deal and i believe at this moment in time Manure are on their last legs and need a total revamp over the next few years major surgery is required, Rooney is on the slide and RVP (who i rate highly) is now struggling with injury again, Juan has been a good player for us but not indispensible and i give him all the best for the future.

Im sure MvG will have the best of facilities to aid his recovery and rehab ... i had nothing after the Falkirk & District Royal infirmary butchers block

Aye im allegedly way to young to have the replacements but needs must lol Not quite sure how it came about ... think i tore cartilige on my knee playing football when i was in my teens, however was just a niggley injury and could keep going, managed to keep playing national league and international volleyball until i couldnt take the pain anymore and the NHS finally had a look and removed a torn piece when i was 26 ... kept playing volleyball and had 3 further surgeries to remove various bits and finally all the cartilige in my left knee by the time i was 30 ... been suffering ever since and with the ultimate embarrasment tore my right knee cartilige last july playing Lawn bowls .... slipped on wet grass going to bar ;-) lol which has now led to the replacement surgeries

I personally have had 6 ops on my left knee (4 times cartilige removal and 2 clean outs) and one cartilige removal on my right knee last year and i'm now going for double full knee replacement surgery in a months time at age 53. All my problems started with a cartilige tear when i was 21ish and i managed to maintain a volleyball playing career well into my 30's although left knee was never the same ... hopefully MvG's knee was a straight forward ligament tear as this can be repaired or get ligament replaced IMHO it might not look good for the future.

Was just a little disappointing tbh ... couple of the guys have met Zola, JT etc and said they couldnt have been any happier to have their pics taken ... Marcel on the otherhand was happily chattin to his mate coming towards us until he was aked for a pic then went into trance and walked on only waving when he got a fair distance away .. he probably heard a few of the choice words at that time as well lol

Just back from Prague and whilst walking through the Old Town Square yesterday who happened to be walking towards us but Marcel Desailly, a couple of the guys said hi marcel how about a couple of pics ? ... his reaction was to totally blank us and even after the last final plead for a pic he turned around and waved after getting about 20 m away ... He has totally went down in everyone who was theres estimations ... we know these guys get pestered a lot and i fully appreciate this but even if he had acknowledged and said sorry guys then that wouldve been accepted .. but to stare ahead like he was in a trance he was just being an ignorant cock of the highest order ... sad end to a great weekend ... rant over

Think he believes he could still do a job for someone if given the chance ..personally i think he was a great keeper and could do a job IF he was deemed fit enough.
