  1. As i stated on another post depending on fitness Craig Gordon may be a good back-up, only if he can prove his fitness ... would cost next to nothing and is still only about 30 and allegedly over his injury problems
  2. Not sure how fit he is but Craig Gordon could be a good shout as a back up - he's allegedly over his fitness problems and would be a cheap option at the least. He was an outstanding goalie until injury and is still young enough IMHO.
  3. Ordered a 4xl on tuesday with PL badges and was delivered on Friday .... cant complain about service this time.
  4. Its worth it for the magazines alone bud ...
  5. Just completed mine ... fairly straightforward. There is an opportunity for commenting on anything at the end of the survey .... i did
  6. No probs bud ... they know a few faces and some have been up to Falkirk before thats all
  7. its a different guy bud ... do you know any of the Scottish guys from Falkirk that travel down and have done for many years ? Dont want to name them lol
  8. Do you know if the fella CD now lives in canada ? If so this was his flag in Munich
  9. Yep seen them this morning and were all good goals ...not sure he will be a top top player as his height goes against him ... however you never know he may be another Messi in disguise .... cant believe the potato munchers discovered him though
  10. Agree with this sentiment although i do believe that he will want to go at end of this season and sign a big contract with someone else... it doesnt make sense giving a player nearing the end of their career a huge 2/3 year deal especially as we need to align with FFP
  11. Whats the Chelsea friendly pubs to catch a pre-match drink in around Loftus Road ?
  12. couple of pics from Munich
  13. This was where i watched the game ... Nam Nams, fair police presence built up outside during game but was not required great atmosphere amongst everyone that was in there especially when we all spilled out onto the street at end of game ... Fantastic !!!
  14. Not all the clubs have terracing bud we at Falkirk have all seater, same as Raith, Partick, Hamilton, Livingston, and two out of 3 of Dundee or Dunfermline or Airdrie, not sure about Morton or Dumbarton so possibly only Cowdenbeath with terracing and its a total craphole
  15. I was at the 1970 Scotland v Englad game which finished 0-0 and there was an attendance of 137,000 i was in main enclosure as a 10 year old with my dad, was also at the Scotland v Wales rugby in 1975 with 104,000 in murrayfield now that was scary lol im sure Andy Irvine Kicked the winner in a 12-10 result
  16. Think you'll find out that one of the small teams and were only champions of Scotland ... was the great Celtic side ... who just happened to be European cup winners the year before in 1967 Cant believe im defending the tims here 1966–67 was arguably Scottish football's best ever season in European football, with Rangers reaching the final of the Cup Winners cup and Kilmarnock reaching the Fairs Cup semi-finals. In addition, Dundee United marked their European debut by eliminating Fairs Cup holders Barcelona. And correct me if im wrong im sure that small team Scotland also took the piss out of the World cup holders at wembley in 67 as well with the late great "Slim Jim" Baxters keepy uppy and sitting on the ball if im not mistaken
  17. In Nam Nams bar/restaurant in Munich ... and boy was it good !!!
  18. Good-Bye Didi .... 8 fantastic and yet frustrating years have drawn to the perfect close .... The man finishes his time at Chelsea as an utter Legend and what a way to go ... took the time to glimpse his celebrating the last kick before we dived out of Nam Nams bar onto the Munich streets to acclaim the new CoE The king is dead, long live the King ... the time has come for Torres
  19. Back from Munich last night and have to agree with most of the sentiment here .... we never had one bad word said to us on the whole trip, apart from one asshole who was generally walking down the road from the Odeonsplattz after game saying F**K Chelsea to everyone... he got knocked out by a geezer who was about 60 ... was hilarious to see .... even on train in there was around 10 Chelsea to about 500 singing dancing Bayern fans and not a word was said to us ... in the small town where we stayed got loads of congrats on the sunday especially from an 1860 fan who we had met on the friday night and had been kicked out of 2 of his locals after the game ...all in all a good trip but the hang around the hauptbanhof after game till 4:00am was a drag ....
  20. Way off topic here ..... but if you had to put up with the crap that we are getting then Paddy Bassa's is quite tame really In our local paper today ..... An Irish republican group has applied to hold a second procession in Denny. Cairde na hÉireann wants to parade through the town on Saturday, June 2. (Which so happens to co-incide with the Queens Diamond Jubilee weekend .... strange that ) The Glasgow-based organisation previously held a march through the town in April last year. Cairde na hÉireann, which translates as Friends of Ireland, describes itself as “the national structure for republicans in Scotlandâ€. Its stated aims include campaigning for a united Ireland and supporting “initiatives aimed at improving the material conditions of the Irish community in Scotlandâ€. IRA supporting scumbags and If some people are so fond of Eire then ... why dont they go home
  21. We are flying to memmingen on Friday and arriving at 14:00 but we are staying in Bad Worishofen which is south of Augsburg, leave again on Monday .... we will be staying locally on the friday night and heading into Munich early doors on Sat .... Local travel on a Bayernticket (for up to 5 adults) is only 29 euros for all day travel cannae beat it
  22. We have booked Ryanair to Memmingen but ive already checked in and got the boarding passes, however, the flights that we are on cost us £270 return a couple of weeks ago (price had been bumped before we booked btw), one of the mates who couldnt commit until last week saw the price of his return flights leap to just over £400 .... checked yesterday and the flights are now sitting at £200 ... what a bunch of Paddy bassa's .... i hate ryanfeckinair
  23. Flying on Friday 18th May from Edinburgh to Munich-West (Memmingen airport) at 10:40, staying in Bad Worishofen for 3 nights and flights back on monday around 14.15 .... £431 each and theres 3 of us Now for the tickets ........
