I am surprised Mata left, he would have still got into the Spanish team and he would have got more games during the season. I love the guy and i wished he would have stayed with us for many years to come but one thing he said in his first interview as a manc u player was that he was looking forward to training hard to fit into his new team and its system, why would he not have had the same desire with us? He could have stayed and busted a gut running back and tracking in the games he would have played. Unfortunately i think the writing was on the wall the minute Jose took over, a positive is that having not played that many games and not being our main player in the last 6 months will make this very easy for our team. We are winning games and playing well too. It is going to feel sh*t when we see him with that crap red shirt on and chances are he will score against us in the future but i am looking forward to seeing what the club have in store for us and how the team will evolve. Just seen the pic, he looks sh*te in red but i do wish him luck, he was a great player for us. The positive from this transfer is that we are buying a couple of players, we have Salah, we might be getting Zouma and all we need is a LB and a striker which we can get in the next week or in the summer. As much as Mata was great he obviously did not fit into the system we have now, but we are winning games and playing decent football. Time to move on

Beginning of the season i was happy to have Jose back instead of Rafa but it seems we cannot have a steady season no matter who is in charge, and again it goes to show how RA doesnt give a crap about the fans, he thinks as long as we win a trophy here and there then we cannot get upset. To sell one of our best players is bad but to sell them to united is beyond ridiculous. They might be out of the title race this season but im sure they will rebuild their squad over the summer and next year they will be title rivals again. Also, they wouldn't sell a 29 fatty to us no matter what we offered but we sell them a 25 year old at the peak of his career who is a great player for $37m, i cannot understand this
