  1. The man utd song should be they came down to Chelsea in 69 they filled up the north stand the shed and both sides as the song is about the European cup what they won in 68 hence they came down the next year in 69,more of a pub song or sang on a coach rather than in the ground. Normally one person stood up and sang it and the rest joined in at the end . second verse is after bobby outjumped the rest " the Stretford end shouted but I never did and the 3rd was scored by young brian kidd. last verse is " utd fans cried out they cried out for more and bobby obliged by making it 4 the team to remember the team to recall is the great man utd the pride of them all. got the lines a bit mixed up mate and wrong year.
  2. I can understand some points on him saving the club and all that didn't like him myself ,as he treated some of us like 3rd class citizens who he would rather have banged up even though we followed the club though thick or thin.Remember a story about a prozzie in Hungary Bradie told me lol, cant say I knew bread roll eric.
  3. Bradie died a few years ago now (if its the same one we're talking about ) ,was living down Ranyes park way when I knew him, Alan(Pudsey) moved back to Pudsey last I heard.
  4. I went to that Sunderland game first game of the season 1975/76 aged 14. Told my parents I was going to a party after planning the train trains, arrive back kings cross 10 o clock hour across London by tube so told them i'll be in at 11-30.Went with a few older mates who were looking after me,remember getting a escort from seaburn station and as we got to the away end Sunderland were inside on the stairs up giving verbals, they soon moved as Chelsea got in.And then the train breaking down and running across fields.Got home at 6 0 clock in the morning and my old man gave me a right hiding as he knew where I had been.cost of the train £4.90.
  5. The picture of Chelsea Arsenal in the shed I nicked out of a social studies book when I was at school believe it or not.
