Could have regrets saying it despite me having nothing to do with the Chelsea boardroom or the transfers that go on in the club but I think we should just put our faith in Willian and Schurrle. So far they have both underperformed it has to be said, while Willian has been the most consistent, he hasn't been producing enough and we have fell short lately of goals and assists which we could have done with. Positive thing about Schurrle is he seemed to grow into the season, I'm certain he has actually played more or just about enough this time around than he did last season because he was on the bench for a long time during November-December. As for Salah, I like the guy, I think some people are too critical on him, he put in some very good impressive performances last season. I didn't want to sign him to begin with, never really rated him highly enough to be Chelsea material but he impressed me last season. This season not so much but what do you really expect, he doesn't even look valued as a squad player these days. If Mourinho doesn't want him here which appears to be a safe bet then replacement ASAP... But who to bring in for Salah exactly?

The saints are very organized however I felt they were there for the taking, we made it easy for them. That's not making excuses, Fabregas and Hazard were ripping them to shreds but our decision making was so poor, could have easily scored a couple that game had we stop messing around on the ball and played more direct.

I'll take back what I said actually Zeta, that is pretty impressive, although call me a twat I still don't think he is producing enough. I thought he had less than that, either way though I think Oscar needs to have more influence on the game, I think he will do that if he gets more competition. That's a very interesting point, he did say that Schurrle has a part to play this season, that's a positive sign but we may as well replace Salah as quick as possible, it shocked me that he actually played today, Mourinho doesn't seem to care about him.

You can never tell with Oscar, it's a tricky situation at times he seems to help the team play well, he makes the game flow. But when you look at what he's done on paper, it's not impressive at all, especially compared to top players in his position. Willian is the same, I've just had a huge debate about Willian earlier so I don't want to say too much but basically I don't think he's doing enough for the team, not enough goals come from that side, goals as in goals and assists and just good play in general besides Ivanovic. I doubt we will sign anyone this month to be honest, but I definitely want a player who can play next to Matic, replace Obi if that's what it takes. I am not so keen on Fabregas playing there, especially him being our best option. Fabregas is easily a key player but I think he's best off behind the striker, sure you don't get that work rate like you do with Oscar but that's the whole point of rotation. Today was unfortunate, Spurs finished almost every chance they had in the first 60 minutes, it was a very unusual game and our defenders were having absolute shockers. I believe it is one of those days but I believe we do have some issues in the side that need addressing, not replacements just some adjustments, I can't remember champions that lose games like this by such a dreadful scoreline and go out and win the title? Can you?

About time we had a reliable goal scorer. I must say though his hold up play is bloody frustrating, he loses the ball a lot more than I expected him to.

I don't change my opinion that much so I'm still going with what I said at the start of the season, Chelsea winning the league, I knew it was going to be a tight race anyway, we aren't going to walk the league. However you have some hard games still to play, the only bogey ground we got is Villa park, and I want revenge there for last season, after Foy mucked up that game, I fully expect us to go there and win. But besides that we have Arsenal away and then we play all the top sides at home, which for me seems fitting for us. This game was a massive wake up call that we are not invincible by any means, we have to go out now and actually start playing some football, I want to see a bit more attack for a change. I really hope teams do start coming at us now. May the best team win.

It's annoying because had that of been a Chelsea player you know that would have been the talking point of the game. Despite it being an 8 goal game that would have been on the analysis on the game. Call us paranoid but it's ridiculous the treatment we get off the media, barely any credit goes our way, we play good football nothing really gets said about it, they like the 'negative tactics' label, just lazy journalism. And this diving makes a great story because we are first in the league and they just want to say the word 'CHEAT' because it's so controversial and makes good story. Pathetic how nothing has been said for his theatrical dive, one of the worst dives I've seen so far this season.

Barry I couldn't agree anymore, his defensive side of the game has not been good this season. But he is also undroppable for a reason, he has been crucial to so many of our attacks down that flank and never gets the praise he deserves. Today was easily the worst game I've ever saw from him that comes to memory, we've seen him have some shockers, Swansea game in league cup semi comes to mind for instance but he got absolutely turned inside out today. There are a few players that shouldn't play next week, and Cahill and Ivanovic are definitely two of them. But it's not about who was the worst today, it's about going onwards, Willian hasn't contributed enough this season to attack, defensively he has been exceptional besides this game of course. But we should be looking to put more faith into Schurrle, Willian might have played better this season, but Schurrle is the better attacking player by some distance, I wish we just shown the faith we put into Schurrle than we do into Willian. It's not like Schurrle isn't a work horse, that's false, he was known before he came here as a hard worker and he still is.

That is the scariest part isn't it really. That is kind of what I mean by our attacking quality, I think it's by some distance off Man Cities, and this could turn out really crucial from the title race. We are now halfway through the season, we are level on points and top of the league alphabetically. Can't underestimate City anymore, they have much better depth than we do and more creative and attacking players. If Hazard is injured, sadly you're right I think the title is over for us.

But that is just one perspective, don't you see, Ivanovic and Matic have delivered it all season, arguably our best players no matter what some think of Ivanovic. Cahill has been off and he has been getting a lot of stick on the forum, check the match day threads for that. As for Willian it's not really attacks, it's just criticism, he doesn't do enough for the side, Blue Daze has been saying that from the start, I myself not so much but I do genuinely believe his point is being proven after each passing game. Games like this we need other players to turn up, when can we ever rely on Willian? Also how useful was his work rate today? Not very was it.

And that's the issue, those 3 don't deliver we aren't left with anything, I feel the attack is just too reliant on the same players. Without Hazard we would really struggle to win games lets be honest. That guy does so much for us.
