I wonder if costa would of been charged had gabriel not of been sent off. Me thinks not. Never the less costa needs to cut this stuff out but he won't. Sure a few niggly tackles and rough defenders up but the flying arms need to stop. Can't believe he hasn't had one red card yet in his time here

Surely we won't appeal? Just take the 3 game ban which is basically two because the league cup game will count as one. If we appeal then walsall won't count as one of the games and will miss 3 prem ones instead

Getting of the agenda subject I think people are missing the big thing to come out of this. Somehow jose has to calm down costa even more than he already has. We all love having him lead our line and the passion he puts into it so we clearly don't want to take any of that away but the lad is going to end up missing at least 6-7 games a season through some of the stuff he does. And in those 6 or 7 games one of them at least is bound to be a potential season deciding one like tomorrow. Jose is in a tricky position because deep down he knows costa did it on purpose but if costa comes into the changing room at full time and denies everything what does jose do? If he disagrees he risks losing the backing of costa and if he agrees then costa will probably continue with this kind of thing knowing his boss will always back him.

People saying the stamp on can wasn't deliberate need to take the blue tinted glasses off. On the other hand I think it is also extremely hard to deny that there isn't an ongoing agenda against us from the fa and media. We never have and never will be liked by the media but I wouldn't change a thing in that aspect. The fa however is a different story completely. They run our game in this country and have a job to remain partial at all times but they simply don't when it comes to chelsea. Make no mistake if aguero did what costa did on saturday we would all be up in arms about it and rightly so. The question isn't if costa's punishment is deserved. The question is would players from the other big clubs in the division be punished for doing the same and all evidence from the past suggests that no they wouldn't. What can we do about it? Stick drogba in for saturday and watch him destroy city!

He will get done for the stamp on can and deservedly so. The skirtel one where else was his foot meant to go when he jumped in the air? I've been amazed that it has taken till the end of january for him to finally crack and over step the line. Love his aggression and passion but he is always going to miss at least 6 games a year through suspensions that's what we knew when we signed him though. Unfortunately it looks like he is missing our biggest game of the season. Remember when we all use to laugh at liverpool fans for defending the indefensible over suarez? Let's not do the same

Not been on here in a while so have only read the last 2 pages back and I am very surprised to see people calling for him to be dropped. I was one of the people at the start of the season calling for azpil to be moved to right back and ivan as cover for the centre backs. How wrong I was. He is up there alongside costa and fab as my player of the season. Contributes massively going back and forward and is the best right back in the league in my opinion. Add to that he gives us another threat at set pieces and you have to question why some on here want him dropped?

Very disappointed in torres if it's true him wanting a pay out from the club. As far as I have heard he isn't being forced out so no need for it. He isn't exactly short on money. I can respect him if he doesn't want to leave due to his family being settled here or if he wants to stay and fight for his place but not if it's just down to money. Milan aren't exactly going to be offering him pennies

Yer great idea! Bring in the lad who wasn't even being picked by derby at the end of last season to lead a team going for the premier leagues line. I'm all for giving youngsters a chance but this whole bamford thing is silly. Let the lad go out on loan and prove himself first. He hasn't shown anything yet to deserve a place in the team so chucking him in out of the blue would ruin him.

I would say we just need to give him a couple of weeks off and hope it clears off but we can't seriously be going into a game at everton with a 36 year old drogba as our only striker? And if costa is rushed back it will only end in the same way it ended for athletico last year and that is with him going off after 10 minutes and missing a lengthy period of time. Just got to hope drogba can muster something up. Still can't believe it has come to this again!

Have never understood the balotelli hype. When ever I have watched him I have never been impressed in the slightest infact quite the opposite. He is so lazy and will happily just walk around for 90 minutes doing f all. Sure he scores the odd great goal every 10 games but he will never be a consistent scorer. I'd want him nowhere near my club or team and city and milan must be very relieved to not have him anymore
