I'm still not sure if this is the sort of player we should be spending 8-10 mil on. He's a good player however, he's not a great goalscorer and with Whelan getting in the way with every opportunity he gets it could become very difficult to sign him. I will admitt though that if he does sign I would like it to happen before our match against Wigan. That would be an exciting debut.

I've been surprised at how long it is taking us to think about RB's I thought it was a top priority now bos has left and Fereira isn't a patch on what he once was. If we buy him he shouldn't cost too much as a 30+ year old player however, I think there are better, younger RB's out there.

I think we should be open to the idea of a new striker so we don't end up like we did last season with an almost identical starting xi every match. Torres won't be much use if he gets injured or fatigued and Lukaku still needs more time before we can rely on him as back up. Sturridge is ok but I still don't like the thought of seeing him in the starting xi every match. Cavani isn't the man for me though because, A He would cost an arm and a leg and B He isn't proven in this league.

No. If an official bid had been made that would be a top story and therefore it would be all over the internet, in the newspapers and on the television. Don't believe in these things unless they come from a reliable source (sky sports news etc...) because 99 times out of 100 these things are untrue.

That match vs Sounders was great! I really wanted to watch it but there was no chance of me getting up this morning if I had watched it. Seeing Marin and Hazard score was so exciting. I'm also glad Lukaku played he's defiantly tallented lets hope he gets match time this season either here or on loan.

He was easilly one of Wigans best players last year, however I worry that if we do get him we'll have to spend a decent amount of money and he probably won't play too often with Marin, Hazard, Mata, possibly Hulk etc..

They say he's a good player and he is playing for the belgium u21 team so he must have talent.
