With respect to Ranieri, who I like, he neither invented substitutions, rotation or changing formations, so no I don't think he was ahead of his time, as nothing much has changed except that our squad is stronger and less tinkering is needed.

I think fans need to grow up a bit - if a player, leaves, arrives or goes on loan I would expect a decent person to show a bit of respect for their club - but also passion for where they are now playing. Kissing a badge after a cracking goal is not done to wind us up but because they are trying their all. Some players show q bit of extra class like hasselbaink but that's an exception and we are the ones who lose out if we hate any player with an association with arsenal, spurs, man u or Liverpool. Why should we care, leave the booing to west ham fans and we can concentrate on cheering our players. The only ones I don't like are those like Craig burley who make a career of skating Chelsea - but they are not worth the attention. We have to get used to our loan players popping up all over.

Good to get a win - very excited to see more of Lukaku and how he makes things happen. Despite all the complaints about our attack I'm still to be convinced by our defence. But as long as we can keep the results coming I will trust Jose to work out the tactics to help us break teams down and keep the goals out. We have a few new players that may need a bit of time to settle. Next game against Utd will be very different and possibly a lot more open (well that or a 0-0 tactical bore draw!)

I'd try it - but I like to sit - a regret of mine is when my dad took me to my first Chelsea match when I was 7. He asked if I wanted to stand and I said "no thanks" as I didn't think it sounded fun to stand for 90 minutes, wish now I'd had the experience though I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it much as a 7 year old! I want a nice comfortable seat and a good atmosphere and to be able to stand up without being told off when it's necessary (eg last 10 minutes of a cup game!!)

Remember also St Pancras can easily take 10 minutes transfer from tube to train and a while from taxi to train depending which line and which platform - try and find out in advance where you train goes from so you can run to the right place without having to check the boards and find the correct way - if I was you I'd set a latest time to leave the ground to make it to your train, then be ready at the exit and leave at that time even if the game isn't over You never know, they could start late for some random reason, there could be 10 minutes of injury time, they might randomly close the exit you need to take making the queue twice as long. If you are stressing about getting home you're not going to enjoy the game as much anyway so you're better of just facing the fact now that you might need to leave a little early and enjoy what you can! Hopefully we'll be many goals to the good already :-)
