Loan player loyalty?.

Featured Replies

I've often wondered when a player goes on loan to a rival, just where their loyalty lies?.

Just what is exceptable from our point of view as it were?.I've often thought the loaning club sometimes put exccesive pressure on a new player to 'spill the beans' or come out with 'I've joined a better club' type of cobblers.

For example....Lukaku is on loan to Everton for the season & even though he can't play against us,if Martinez asked for info on how Jose sets his defences in training or the weakness of a certain player for example, would that be acceptable to the parent club?.

I'm often suprised just how some players react when out on loan with Victor Moses comments after joining the dippers for a season loan, a recent example.

Saying he's joining a 'big club' is all well & good when you're trying to win over those tossers after signing a permenant deal, but he is only there for the season!............will he be kissing the badge next?.

Just my opinion, but I think it's going to be tough for him to come back here next year.

I recall the sight of Yossi Benayoun almost wetting himself (not a pretty sight) at the Emirates when the arse scored while he was playing for them on loan a couple of years ago.

I thought after that shocker, his chance at Chels was over & he could go & f**k himself to be honest.

Mind you, with the size of his hooter,he probably could.

But just what is acceptable for a loan player to say while out on loan?.

I think fans need to grow up a bit - if a player, leaves, arrives or goes on loan I would expect a decent person to show a bit of respect for their club - but also passion for where they are now playing. Kissing a badge after a cracking goal is not done to wind us up but because they are trying their all. Some players show q bit of extra class like hasselbaink but that's an exception and we are the ones who lose out if we hate any player with an association with arsenal, spurs, man u or Liverpool. Why should we care, leave the booing to west ham fans and we can concentrate on cheering our players.

The only ones I don't like are those like Craig burley who make a career of skating Chelsea - but they are not worth the attention.

We have to get used to our loan players popping up all over.

It's as if they were going "dark"!

Fair's fair, if you were isolated among a group of rival players, you would have to find a way of fitting in.  These are nearly always youngsters, with not perhaps the wisest brains.

RT @efc_adamclark: '@evertontv: "Do you want an Everton win on Saturday?" Lukaku: 'Yes, I have to be honest." Good lad #EFC

Dont really see anything wrong with that. Everton tv asked him so he`s hardly likely to say he wants Chelsea to win. He`s at Everton, he will want Everton to win.

Well Lukaku has just said he hopes Everton wins v Chelsea this Saturday...

completely understandable...

working his *ss of all summer, scoring as many goals in preseason as some fellow chelsea-strikers last season, not given 45 minutes to prove himselve..

it's a wonder he isn't pissed, the only reason he accepts this situation, is because he loves this club so much...

I don't blame him. At all. Maybe he's sick of trying to forge a place in our side only to be sent on loan all the time. The lad scored 17 goals for West Brom last season, he must be wondering what the hell he has to do to be given a chance by Chelsea. If he wants us to lose on Saturday I honestly can't blame the poor lad.

I hope he's on the losing side though, obviously.
