Maksimov
Just heard there's gonna be a biopic about Ian Dury and Andy Serkis has been announced as the one to play Ian Dury. What's interesting is that apparently Blockheads are recording a dozen of songs with Serkis to be used in the movie. I think Serkis is a good actor but I never knew he could sing, but it's interesting what they will come up with. It's often better when the actor actually sings in these kind of music biopics rather than lipsynching. Sure, it doesn't sound like the original, but it usually feels more authentic that way. Wonderful news! And so good of them, to think of the deaf community! Wonder how they'll sign "Wake up and make love"?
loz
I think it is due to be released in 2010 Maksimov. Andy Serkis was good as Martin Hannett but other than that and Gollum I haven't seen him in anything. I know he was in King Kong but I never saw that.
