Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been mentioned, but another Premier League possibility is Portsmouth hitman Peter Crouch, according to Studio Sport.

The English international will likely leave Fratton Park this summer, but is waiting to see who the club appoint as their new coach before making a definitive decision.

The 28-year-old scored 15 goals in all competitions for Portsmouth in 2008-09, after three inconsistent seasons with Liverpool.

Talk about lowered expectations. Imagine going from a team including Maldini and Kaka, the very personifications of class and talent, to one with Adebayor or Crouch, the very definitions of oversized donkeys

In all seriousness, they shouldve pressed harder or ponied up for Dzeko, he is an awesome forward. Adebayor and Crouch are just subpar, but they might form a good partnership with Pato, who knows?

Do none of these people watch "What Not to Wear" ? The boy would clearly benefit from horizontal stripes.
