TheWestwayWonder
Roma striker Mirko Vucinic has ruled out a move to Tottenham, reiterating he hopes to remain with the Giallorossi. The Montenegro forward admits he would study an offer if one came in but would not move to White Hart Lane. "At the moment it's useless to talk because there aren't any offers,'' said Vucinic. "If one should arrive I will talk with the club and we'll see. "Obviously there are places where I would not want to go. Tottenham? Let's reject that. :D You go on, Mirko I actually lol'ed
kalpitv
This guys got wits. :D I think he was pretty good against us during the away leg in group stages and would not be a very bad option.
TheWestwayWonder
He has been touted for a move this summer, but like so many players at Roma he seems like he is perfectly happy to stay there despite their malaise. I guess the likes of Spurz coming after you isnt much to tempt a player. I know he played at wing for them last season, too, so I would think that he would be more attractive to some teams
dkw
taken from channel 4`s web site. Chelsea bid £20m for Vucinic Friday 17 July, 2009 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mirko Vucinic has already turned down Tottenham, but the Roma striker could be convinced by Chelsea’s £20m offer. The striker is wanted by several Premier League clubs and confessed this week he would be “willing to leave for the good of Roma†in these difficult financial times. Although the Montenegrin rejected Spurs out of hand, Chelsea are a very different proposition and this latest bid could interest all parties. Carlo Ancelotti admires Vucinic and would like him to join his squad at Stamford Bridge, while the player would have Champions League football. Roma need to cash in on some of their stars in order to raise funds for new transfer buys and £20m would be a more than acceptable sum for the striker. i wonder if this thread should now be moved to the rumours section. he was excellent against us in rome so i would certainly be happy to see him sign. Ruh Buh Juh
This is interesting if true. He really impressed me against us last season. What type of striker is he, can anyone tell me? Out and out centre-forward, second-striker? Hopefully the latter...
Elliott
I think he plays more as a second striker, and has alot of power, no doubt. G4/Pauly, care to shed any light?
ace
I was about to complain about this rumour and how we shouldn't sign any Liverpool rejects, then I realized that was Voronin. Yes, he did look good against us last year and if we sign him it could be good. But has he played striker for Roma or winger, because he's only scored 22 goals for them since 2006. Anyways, part of me would like to see Sheva and Pizarro feature in the preseason games to get a feel if either still has a use as 3rd striker, and the signing of Vucinic would certainly mean no Aguero/Pato, but he'd be better than nothing, and he certainly proved he can play against good teams during our embarassment in Rome last year. geezer
the signing of Vucinic would certainly mean no Aguero/Pato, At least it's showing we have a plan B this summer as opposed to only having plan A last summer which fell through at the last minute courtesy of Citeh
BlueBosnian
He often plays the same role as Malouda, except that he is a very dangerous striker and can score, while Malouda is more of a winger to me.
That Boy Brandinho
Not worth 20 MP. He has talent but he's very streaky. No thanks. Truthfully, he's more Tottenham calibre than Chelsea calibre. Edited July 18, 2009 by That Boy Brandinho

TheWestwayWonder
http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/jul19o.html Is he worth more than Fabiano, considering the Confed Cup Fabiano just had? I know Milan have financial problems and all, but the last player I remember them successfully signing for any amount of money was Ronaldinho. They seem to be linked to everyone, but get no one
