I listened to Junior Choice on BBC Radio back in the sixties and Three Wheels on my Wagon by the The New Christy Minstrels was played nearly every week. It with Puff The Magic Dragon by Peter, Paul and Mary and The Beatles' Yellow Submarine were as far as I can remember the most requested songs to play. Ed Stewart was the host.

I think the show was on a Sunday afternoon but could be wrong. I also remember listening to The Clitheroe Kid. The things I remember!
