Good heavens. Tom Springfield (brother of the wonderful Dusty) took them under his wing. Right sound, right place, right time. Judith Durham was the sweetest person, Athol Guy (with the specs) became a Tory MP in the state of Victoria, Keith Potger (on the right) was a nice guy, less said about Bruce Woodley (on the left) the better.

Judith Durham had a great voice. One of the best I've heard. I first heard The Seekers as a kid in the late sixties/early seventies when my Dad bought a Seekers album home. Have liked The Seekers since then. Tom Springfield wrote some great songs. Here he is with the Springfields. Dusty was another great singer.

She started out singing jazz and blues and very well. Sang with Melbourne’s best jazz bands. The Seekers were a complete change of style. Superb voice.
