The Brit
more like in danger of becoming the worst champions ever
Maximus
I wonder What you mean by "worst champions"? Whoever reaches the top of the table after 38 games are real Champs. beating teams in the top for and kneeling down infront of bottom eight teams is not necessarily champions stuff. ITs true that once in a while a team will pile up 90+ points and become champions but.....
The Brit
no-one can convince me arse will be good champions having looked so second rate against the best sides...it will still be a case of chelsea losing it rather than them winning it

Right now they have the fewest losses. (chelsea have 5, arsenal and Utd have 6 each). If anything tells about a teams superiority its points and Goal differences. And arsenal are up there with the top 2. Even now its chelsea's title to loose, Since chelsea beat us 2-0. But whoever is able to capitalise on top teams fallings deserve it. IMO. I'd pretty much agree with that mate, do me a favour though..if the title ends up coming to the Bridge rather than one of the teams that seem to have more momentum at the moment, come back on and congratulate us. I've got nothing against opposition fans coming on the site, in fact I think its good to get views from other fans I just wonder why its usually only when they have had a couple of good results to us having a couple of bad ones and got over excited. I'm not saying you are this just that it'd be nice if you wasn't

It will be a big challenge for this arsenal side to keep that 'three match winning momentum' till May. But im hoping.. Lets wait and see..

Maximus
I can understand what youre saying. Its not that hard to find an Arsenal fan over the internet with the same opinion as yours. Our trophyless years and loosing some 'winnable' games with other top sides are to blame, for loosing the fear factor. Losing important players at critical times in the season to injuries, wengers giving too much playing time to fringe players doesnt help either. If we manage a good run in the last 10 games ousting any of the present top2 to third place, which i think our present squad is good enough, that could do wonders with the confidence of the squad - even if we didnt win it. The Brit
to show I'm not completely unreasonable, I'm surprised arse have coped as well as they have with the amount of injuries this season, particularly losing your best striker in RVP...arse would have posed more of an attacking threat against us if he'd been fit...still think we'd have been too strong though
Maximus
Losing RVP was a very huge blow so early in the season. Our Goals per game ratio has dropped by 50% or so without RVP in the side. Having Bendtner out for the same time didnt help either. I believe we play our best when we have a physical Centre forward up front, as we saw at ManU away. And theres games like Fullham away where we got roasted in midfield and it was RVP who made the difference. Anyway Arsenal fans have learned not to count on RVP for an entire season as he is always picking up freak injuries - i dont think he is injury prone btw.May be wenger also thinks the same, and that may be reason behind his interest in Chamakh.
