OK, know im probably going to get some flak. but need some advice any way.

10 miniutes ago I was offerd tikets to the game tommorow. coporate and there is the 1 percent chance they will be snatched from me in the morning but it really is a 1 percent chance...

whats the problem I hear you ask?

I have football playing commitments in chigwell and can't get out of it. Can't let people down like that. So ok thats cool, game should finish at about 4, the lane is no more than half an hour away, I wont bother with a shower, some deodrent and fabreeze, ill be good to go, may even blend in better. Pretty much guessing that match day parking is going to be non-exsitent. I would normaly park at my dads about 4 miles down the road and get the bus but I get the feeling there's going to be no time for that.

So getting over the fact that I should take the tickets as soon as they become availible get down there early, get drunk and then watch us pick up 3 points because there's no way that can happen.

Any one got any advice asa to the best way to go about this? I have to play and some how I have to get to the ground in an hour.

Afraid not that cut and dry, we have 2 games left, need to win both for promotion. This is a big deal for the people I play with and me to be honest. let them down at this notice and I may as well not go back. And im the only keeper. if there was another it would be best of luck lads i'm of.

Can't just let peopled down like that ....

Sooooo.... ideas... at the moment I have a cab booked to the ground or as close as I can get

What is the calibre of the oppositon like? Why not speak to your mates and agree that if you are comfortably ahead with 20 mins to go then they will sub you and punt someone else in nets (you have no reserve keeper??).

Worse case scenario is that you miss kick off - you are not going to miss large chunk of game.

Haha already coverd... 3 goal leed is agreed, team are top of the league and garanteed promotion so they may not fancy traveling.. there is a chance.

If i had had notice yesteday they would have had time to ask around get a ringer in.

These are the kind of moral dilemas the g-d comes up with to really test you

Why not get your team a clean sheet, take some teammates, get supplies, and watch the match with your Dad?

Not an option mate, If the ticket comes through I'm going end of.. just nee to find the mnost efficent way of doing both.

Looking on line most of the parking is going to cost about 15 pound. so may as well get a cab for a bit more, dont have to bother about lookign for parking, an hour and half is plenty time and I can drink all I like.

Sod's law the 1 percent will come in and the ticket will be swiped by some one else

corporate and there is the 1 percent chance they will be snatched from me in the morning but it really is a 1 percent chance...

Can't let people down like that.

Whoever else has a shot at the tickets might not consider their chances at 1%, so you need a backup plan.

I have this happen all the time, and I generally record important games, CFC and FSU. That may not be an option, but I still wouldn't let down my boys.

It's essentialy there ticket. part of a hospitalty entertaiment package or some rubbish, my mate who is doing the entertaining is almost cirtain they have no interest in the game. If not for this volcanic dust it would be 100 percent!

we will see I guess... 3-1 us any way, that's my prediction

Can't speak for Yanks in general, but that says it all, for me.

How man tickets you got?

If you have a spare offer it to the other teams keepers and tell the lads "fairs fair" and you both skip the match! :(

Orrrrrr

If you have a spare offer it to a mate wiling to pay the cab fare from your dads to the stadium.

Essentially if you have a spare ticket you need to just use it as a bargaining chip to get to the match on time!

if not your pretty much up to your own reseources!

Sorry TD, last night I'd had an overdose of rum punch. In the sobriety of morning I humbly retract my foolish remarks. Please forgive me.

OOer... I felt fragile, so I went back to bed, and now I've got up again I feel even more fragile. And I'm going out to lunch in half an hour. Serves me right!
