I think the record for most times scoring 7+ in the Premiership* during one season, other than our current team, is . . . one.

*the list of high-scoring games I saw was Premiership-only, so no idea what happened before '92.

According to the Guardian, there is a record, and we've just equalled it:

Chelsea don't give anyone a break. The second top-flight side since 1945 to score seven or more goals three times in the same season (as well as three sevens they've scored six fours and three fives). 4-0 up with 10 minutes to play they refused simply to see out the closing stages and continued to tear into Stoke. Sure, goal difference may be key this season, but that's just mean.

I love the way there are having a dig at us for being ruthless. Only a couple of years ago everyone was saying how conservative we were when we tended to settle for relatively low-scoring wins under Jose.

The Guardian's live match report actually wrote:

You want to read the Guardian. They despise Chelsea and don't try and hide the fact.

I think we all should stop being so paranoid that everyone hates us. Sure we get more negative press than Man Utd, but they are a more popular club. This is normal.
