Scam?

My old man found an ad advertising 3 tickets for next weekend at £75 a ticket.

I got in touch with the guy via email. Asked him for his number as I wanted to get details.

He emailed back straight away practically saying he is in work til late tonight but can post tickets out as soon as payment goes in.

Asked him to see photos first bit he says he is not willing due to being scared of getting reported to the club. I explained that I if I really wanted to do that I would have his emails and seating number anyway...

He said he would send bank details of where to send payment to and that I would have his details if I wanted to report to police, but stressed it wouldn't be needed.

In a pickle, waiting to hear back from him now. He said he is based in Yorkshire. If I gr his bank details and bank name could I call the bank connected to the sort code to see if the name on the account matches the email name?

Stay away mate!

If you have the least bit of suspicion, absolutely do not go through with it. The only way you should is if you physically meet the person before the game and see the tickets in person.

Yeah definitely. If he even sent a pic of the 3 tickets I would be happy enough with that, but he isn't, so sod him.

He built my hopes up for next weekend, what a bugger!!
