So, not sure how much publicity this got, but there was a group of girls from the Netehrlands wearing orange dresses as an "Ambush Marketing" play by a beer company. They were in the stands against the Danes, I believe. These girls were escorted off premises at half time and questioned intensely.

Authorities wondered how they had maanged to get such prominent tickets, so checked all their stubs. Turned out a collection of them were property of ITV's Robbie Earle, who had given up his hospitality passes to these girls.

ITV had a clause that this was inappropriate behaviour and would result in disciplinary action. So they sacked him!!!!

if there's one thing to be said in Robbie Earle's favour, it's that he's not Mark Lawrenson. I agree with you entirely that Andy Townsend is bloody awful, but he too is not Mark Lawrenson. only Mark Lawrenson is guilty of being Mark Lawrenson, and as a TV pundit or match commentator, by any half way decent standards, one Mark Lawrenson is undeniably one too many.

Meanwhile, Bavaria are getting huge free-ish publicity with their "Bavaria Babes" stunt, although they may have some legal fees to cough up.
