Ok strange one this but ive heard a rumour were signing Nigerian striker Chinedu Obasi. Apparently he was at Lynn at the same time as Mikel and moved to a German side, rumours are we owned him and stationed him in Germany. Never heard of him and cant really remember seeing him stand out in the world cup.

He plays for Hoffenheim. Haven't seen him much since he moved to Bundesliga to be honest. He was excellent in Lyn though, but I doubt he's anything to do in a club like Chelsea.

I remember us being linked with him quite a while ago but I don't recall any talk of us actually 'owning' him

Isn't Obasi one of the three nigerian players we sent or helped get to Lyn? Mikel was one of them and I think Obasi was another.

He had a really good season a couple of years ago at Hoffenheim, if I recall correctly. I believe there was a lot of speculation linking us with him around then too.
