Posted January 9, 201114 yr Should Chelsea buy Adel Taarabt? I think Chelsea should buy him because he is very skilful and has lots of potential http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDQ7mx8h1BI Great Goal Should Chelsea buy Mesut Ozil? I think Chelsea should buy him. Great Player, Creative, Skilful, Can Score Goals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVQN82wgvyk
January 9, 201114 yr Don't think Taarabt is good enough and Ozil joined Real Madrid like 6 months ago so I doubt they will sell him anytime soon, especially since he's doing well there.
January 9, 201114 yr Actually think Taarabt is a good player. He is also young. Not sure how you could even think about Ozil? He just moved and Real would be crazy to sell him.
January 9, 201114 yr We don't buy expensive and useful players anymore so I doubt this will ever happen.
January 9, 201114 yr Should we buy Messi, Ronoldo, Ineista, etc, etc. Taarabt not the sort of signing we need right now. Inconsistant, and a big player in a little pond.
January 10, 201114 yr Taarabt? No way. Nowhere near good enough. He's definitely not better than sturridge or kalou in any case. No chance of getting Ozil either. Next....
January 11, 201114 yr Never say never. Another president, another manager at Real and you'd see another Sneijder, VDV, Robben type of situation emerging. Taarabt is good at FM and FIFA so he must be good.
January 11, 201114 yr Taarabt is quality, just because he's now playing in the Championship and is an ex Spurs player doesn't mean people should instantly be so dismissive of him, I genuinely think he could do an amazing job at Chelsea. I'd certainly pick him over Anelka right now anyhow... and he's young, and will only get better. We could do a *lot* worse. Ozil also, to the people saying he'd be impossible to sign, he seems to be slowly falling out of favour at Real and really isn't very popular with the fans - it's unlikely still they'd want to sell him, and it's maybe unlikely he'd want to come, but it's certainly not impossible.
January 11, 201114 yr Actually really wanted Ozil in the summer, but is never going to happen now Same here, and it's definitely not going to happen.

Ozil is falling out of favour at Real? Hadn't heard that one. I'd be thrilled if you were correct and we got him somewhat on the cheap. Pipe dreams though...
January 11, 201114 yr He'll never be as cheap as when he went to Madrid in the summer you can be sure of that, but it really wouldn't surprise me if he did slowly fall out of favour. I've only seen maybe 3 or 4 Real Madrid games this season and whilst he has contributed some goals, he really was very quiet in most, and on the Sky Sports Sunday morning football show they said that the fans are starting to get onto his back for being far too lazy?
January 11, 201114 yr I dunno Blize, the games I have seen of Madrid Ozil has fit right in with Di Maria (also brilliant) and Ronaldo in driving that team on. Ozil can definitely float out of games at times, but he is so small, quick and accelerates so quickly I think he is destined to be there for years. Ronaldo even said he is going to win the ballon d'or when he fully matures for Madrid. As far as his cheap fee, its clear that once Madrid batted their eyelashes at him he was only going to accept one destination. Didnt realize Taarbat had left Spuds permanently. That is just the kind of player I think we should take a gamble on. Okay, the championship isnt the premiership, but with youth and obvious bags of skill he could become a great player for us in time.
June 4, 201113 yr Taarabt has just quit international football because his manager was going to put him on the bench - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/13648196.stm
