So then, film sequels (or prequels) that get a tough time, that you actually enjoy.

Few of mine:

Ghostbusters II

Rocky V

Robocop 2

Godfather Part III - Nowhere near as bad as people make out.

Also, is The Phantom Menace really as bad as people make out? I saw it in the cinema as a kid, and was blown away by it, albeit

it's not a patch on the original three, but I still find it decent, had Jar Jar not been a part of it, I think it would have gone down a whole

lot better with movie goers.

Godfather 3, I can go along with apart from the killing the Pope bit. I love Pacino's performance in the final scene on the steps. But Rocky V? No way Rocky IV should be on this list purely for Apollo Creed's entrance to 'Living in America' with James Brown playing live. That is hilarious. Matter of fact the whole thing is hilarious, but V is a bridge too far for me.

The plot was a bit ridiculous, Rocky must have been 60. Then again Hopkins won a world title aged 46 today so in the horrid state of boxing these days who knows.

I quite liked it. Immensely depressing, but the best film of the series since the first one which it must be remembered won Best Picture. Stallone can direct when he wants, he just makes more money from rubbish.

Predator 2 - I actually think this was the best of the 3.

I still don't know what to make of the third one, was a bit 'meh' to me, but yes I agree the

second was decent, with Danny Glover - the unlikely hero, thought it was a nice change.

What about Terminator Salvation? I loved that, and everyone else hated it, hope they do

another one.

Predator 2 - I actually think this was the best of the 3.

Agree!

Though the alien vs predator movies really started pissing on the franchise. Individually they're my favourite creature movies.

I also agree that number 2 was best. I thinks the pred v alien thing could be better executed if there was more development to the history of their conflict. I Always wanted to know where the aliens originally came from. Also in the most recent pred movie there was the introduction of some kind of civil war between the preds. Could make an interest plot for another movie. Frankly I get tired of the hack 'n slash with no plot.

Exactly there wasn't much story to it at all. The original Alien scared the living sh*t out of me when I first saw it, can't say another movie was quit as effective since and it was disappointed to see the concept dragged to the depths it has been.

Does anyone remember in the original Alien where they find the eggs? That looked somewhat like the Predator ship in Pred 2 if you ask me. They could have run with that anyway!

Yeah I kinda remember the alien pilot of the ship they found the eggs in looked nothing like the preds bit the interior looked similar. I agree it was one of the best sci fi horror flics of all time.
