As far I'm aware it certainly aint what is happening to us at the moment. Can somebody who genuinly believes this is the case come and explain what there defenition of the word is.
February 11, 201213 yr He's lost the backing from the fans now, something that will be hard for him to gain back. I am finding it very hard to stick up for his tactical ineptitude, awful substitutions and his Dalglish-esq media handling skills. IMHO, he's way out of his depth and we're going to struggle to salvage anything this season with him at the reigns.
February 11, 201213 yr When a side progresses from one stage to another, usually involving a new generation of players. My take at least
February 11, 201213 yr It means a period of crossing from one state/thing to another. And it is not necessarily as quick a process as some people seem to think. Sometimes patience is required during a transitional period. Edited February 11, 201213 yr by moi
February 11, 201213 yr Said in another thread that it's all well and good having patience but he's not even taking risks and giving our bright young players a chance and instead playing buffoons like Malouda and Bosingwa, mix that with absolutely zilch motivational methods then he's well and truely f*cked. I wouldn't mind if he was playing people like Hutchinson and Bertrand! Edited February 11, 201213 yr by 1905.

My point exactly! Way I see it is how can we be going through a transition when the only thing that's changed is our league position is worse? We havn't given a chance to any youngsters so what has changed enough for people to call it a transition? Edited February 11, 201213 yr by Bluehatter
February 12, 201213 yr No transistion here.....decay? yes....but no transistion. TRANSITION: A transistion (in my opinion) would have been the likes of josh, berty, lukaku, piazon, kakuta etc getting significant game time in preperation for the future. Sure, we would have maybe dropped some points, but the trade off was that the kida were getting valuable experience for the future. DECAY: A decay (in my opinion) is continuing to play the same old players week in week out without any apparent of noticable change in style, formation or footballing principles...only to see those same old players get worse, get old and get less motivated. Honestly with 100% of my heart I believe that any one of the members of this forum could have done the same job as AVB has with similar results. It does not require any imaginination or footballing brain to choose the team he is picking every week.
