It would represent a serious lack of professionalism in the way the club is run as a whole if he didn't. I would be amazed if he didn't already know, however Shreeves is still a c*nt

I think he knew but after a game like that its understandable to forget, you'd still be delirious after beating the best team in the world and knowing your going to the final whether your playing or not. I respect him more for 'forgetting' if he did cause he's thinking more about the club and not just him which is the way it should be
