  1. Jon harley got a good reception when we played watford couple seasons back. Joe Hart got a few claps the other week when he came to the MH for 2nd half but the got hammered after the save that was never a corner. He got more claps than the FSW thats for sure!
  2. Hes still liked at Chelsea and rightly so he was and still is a brilliant keeper. With him as no. 2 there'd be no worry (or very little) worry if Petr got injured. At the Tottenham game last season 0-0 when he was warming up he clapped the Chelsea fans more than Spurs and we clapped him more than his own teams fans.
  3. Mourinho with Di Matteo number 2
  4. I dont see Ramires as a DM more a AM if anything Getting rid of Essien and Meireles is a no in my opinon Essien has done so much just because last season he wasn't at his best when he did play and Meireles at the back end of last season was pretty decent.
  5. Do you have a link the the one already there?
  6. I think when its a 1500 allocation its not bad but big games and cup games when its 3000 and the whole stand like Cardiff had a couple years back we seem like a much smaller club than we are West stand would never happen especially upper due to revenue East stand there would be upset from the Family section if some was taken and Upper I never think its wise to put away fans in Upper tier with home fans below especially Family section. So for now there probably gonna stay put.
  7. Napoli was definitely the best I couldn't speak afterwards City was absolutely rocking aswell
  8. You say it like its only the champions league! RDM won the most prestigious club footballing trophy after coming back from 3-1 down to Napoli beat Barcelona over 2 legs with 2 central defenders gone in the first half and only 10 men and then wins in Munich and not forgetting the FA cup.
  9. What I expect is a top 3 finish, CL last 8, one domestic cup, club world cup and super cup. That should be enough to keep his job but you never know with Roman. What I hope, that he can prove himself as a longterm manager and change Romans mind now he has what he wants he might not be so quick to sack him. To not see we miss Drogba, I know we will we all do but I dont want it to be so obvious every game were remembering or saying 'Drogba would of scored that' 'If we still had Didier'. For the team to play like they give a sh*t I cant stand it when they put in a piss poor performance and just dont try!
  10. Is he despicable for going out after the court case splashing out a sh*tload on champagne and chips, yes chips. Is he despicable for having breakfast in a 5 star hotel and dinner at midnight on the days of his court case or was he just hungry?
  11. All 4 in the Napoli game for me as they were all so iconic and the beginning of the most memorable comeback. They were all by legends at the club too, we were completely written off before that game never mind contenders to win it so to come back in such fashion and to go onto win the competition is an outstanding achievement. Ramires' goal was just pure class with an element of cheekiness cause who would try that against the biggest club in the world in the most prestigious competition in the world? Drogba's penalty in the final was pin point perfect with a step up rather than run up. That's what he'll be remembered for his last ever kick in a Chelsea shirt won us the big one! All of our goals in the CL were big this season cause it definitely wasn't looking to be our best but turned out to be one of the best!
  12. Always welcome back at the Bridge! Your name will be sung forever I'll personally make sure of it! Thanks for everything and good luck in the future we know those wages will go to an amazing cause! Thankyou Didier 'King of Wembley' Drogba!
  13. Drogba should sell his right boot for his charity he would get a sh*t load of money for that. He will never ever be forgotten, he'll be talked about in the same light as the greats. Anyone whos slated him for anything can go f**k themselves now his footballing ability and his personality to his country is impeccable. He's one of a kind and I'm over the moon to say he did his best work in a Chelsea shirt!
  14. Maybe Drogba could get them relegated something Zola never managed
  15. I wasn't around when Andy Townsend played for us but what my dad spoke of him and his commentary on Chelsea games is f**king appalling for an ex Chelsea player its a joke he never seems to want us to win Gary f**king Neville was more excited when Torres scored than Townsend has ever been!
  16. IMO I dont think they can be compared Drogba is a 6foot something powerhouse up top and Zola is a 5foot 6 magician. They are both exceptional at what they did for us and will never be forgotten. They will always be the ones we compare to and every other striker for us has a f**king lot to follow!
  17. Every time I've seen JT's slip replayed not through choice its always brought a tear to my eye. That was a very very sad night. Ovrebo well he will always be one of the biggest enemies of this club after only 90 minutes to do with us. That was horrible the injustice was f**king outrageous. I've watched the penalty appeals a few times before and that is when Drogba made himself an icon in my eyes, the passion he showed for the club proved exactly what he is. I didn't see him at all in the wrong and Hiddink in the interview after agreed. It hasn't eased the pain but we certainly have something to throw back in the bar stewards faces whoever mention any of them again cause we are the f**king Champions of Europe
  18. First 5 games look decent but then the 8 after is 5 big games Arsenal and Spurs away then United Liverpool and City at home !
  19. I think its ridiculous we have much more valuable things including £50million worth of flesh walking around and hes not in a glass box and a Russian billionaire who is only sometimes in a glass box
  20. When we won the League for the 2nd time I went on the tour and got a pic with it. The photographer said hold it so me being the literal person I am picked up the 20kg monstrosity to the horror of the photographer who nearly had a heart attack!
  21. I haven't heard of the 'big 4' in fooking ages! There is definitely hatred there you could class it as a rivalry. I wouldn't call City a rival i mean less than 10 years ago they finished 16th and only in the past few years have they been decent. Liverpool is just scum in every way possible. Players, fans, the arrogance of their 'istory and that f**king disgrace of an accent! I hate when they bang on about history nobody gives a f**k what you won 20odd years ago!
  22. Cant we have a legend hierarchy like Junior legend and Senior legend?? And then 'statue status'
  23. I couldn't imagine not being in blue it would be outrageous. A fair few of our songs would be null if we changed. I dont remember Red is the colour or Red day getting the charts!
  24. I've always had the same debate mainly with glory hunting mancs and they've always chose England probably cause they're not proper supporters and don't know the passion with a real club. Also England is sort of part time seen as it only matters every 2 years and the Euros is no where near the World cup for me so every 4 years in some peoples eyes. When Terry went off against Belgium I was f**king disgusted by the boos not surprised just disgusted. The same when he got booed for doing one of the few things he has (cant quite remember which one) its disgraceful. I'm not saying I don't slag other English players off but I'd never boo them in an England shirt. Thats one thing I've always respected Rooney for saying 'Nice to see your own fans booing ya' I completely agreed with him then. If Terry's done something wrong and he is a racist then why do the other players play with him, if you respect the other players shouldn't you respect there decision to play with a man whos innocent till proven guilty? IMO its hard to support England as all fans will dislike/hate rival teams players or what they've done before. I agree with Sir Wadzman that you need rivalry for the passion, and also there is only 2 full months with no competitive club football in a year compared to internationals. So in answer to your question Myles no I don't think you can I think true supporters of clubs the club will always edge the country IMO
