July 14, 201212 yr Author Drogba's equaliser against Bayern Yep - for me that was the other one. One thing I've been thinking about over the last few weeks is how much the CL win has meant to me. I thought the Premiership was the main thing, but my emotions seem to say that the CL was what I really wanted - maybe it's because we have done so well in the PL over the last few years. I'm going in to this new season totally relaxed - strange.
July 16, 201212 yr The first two that springs to mind is Drogba against Munich and of course Ramires against Barcelona. If I had to pick one it will probably be Ramires.
July 16, 201212 yr Obviously the Munich and Barca games had big goals, but the Napoli game had some pretty big ones as well. Love the emotion after Ivan's goal.
July 16, 201212 yr Both the Ramires and Drogs goals were fantastic in every sense. The technical skills were wonderful and the emotions equally. Both goals had this boys own adventure feel to them. Against the run of play, against the odds. I couldn't choose between them.
July 16, 201212 yr Drogba's penalty in the shoot out. If you dont consider that a 'goal' then I'd have to go with Ramires' chip against Barca. Drogba's equalizer against Bayern was also extremely huge of course but since I was more hopeless against Barca at the time of goal than against Bayern, I go with the former.
July 16, 201212 yr I can't choose between the 2 mentioned. Equally huge, vital and important - both in execution and the time of them.
July 16, 201212 yr For me it has to be Ramires' goal for the simple reason I had lost all hope at that stage and was close to tears and suddenly out of nowhere , we came back in the mix. It was stunning goal that sent me into unrivalled ecstasy ! Well ,if it was one goal that left me in tears , it is the Drogba goal against Bayern. I was thinking about our bad luck and then Drog sent a bullet in and I cried. Fantastic moments both... Other Superb yet important goals Ivan vs Napoli Drogba Vs Spurs Torres Vs Barca Ramires Vs Livpool and against Spurs ( FA cup )
July 16, 201212 yr Ramires because I thought we were down and out and just playing for pride then he came up with that and it was such an amazing goal. Drogba against Bayern was crucial but in my opinion if Ramires hadn't scored when he did we wouldn't have made the final so it has to be the most important one for me.
July 16, 201212 yr The 2 mentioned are the goals of the season, but I'll go with Mata v United in PL. A stunning goal in one of the best games played by CFC this season, ruined by the greatest Man Utd legend, Howard Webb.
July 16, 201212 yr Dont under estimate the goals scored by Mata and Meireles against Birmingham in the FA Cup. Massive win that started a fantastic turn around to our season.
July 16, 201212 yr Rambo's goal 2nd leg Barca, gave us hope and motivation at a crucial moment in the game.
July 16, 201212 yr Ivan's against Napoli was something special and a turning point in the CL campaign Meiriles breakaway goal against Benfica and scissors clap was special Ramires against Barca was sublime - I admit I had given up hope before that one (and I think it helped break Barca's impregnability) Torres in the same match was the icing on the cake Drogba with a bullet in the CL
July 16, 201212 yr Ivan's against Napoli was something special and a turning point in the CL campaign Meiriles breakaway goal against Benfica and scissors clap was special Ramires against Barca was sublime - I admit I had given up hope before that one (and I think it helped break Barca's impregnability) Torres in the same match was the icing on the cake Drogba with a bullet in the CL I agree with all these and am reserving special praise for Drogba's Pen and Ashley Coles Pen in the CL final...I nearly took the roof off the house for both those...
July 16, 201212 yr A massively underrated goal is the drogba header against napoli! We started the game really flat and out of nowhere a bullet header that no other striker in the world would of scored and that got us going and believing. It has to be there ramires goal though. I still believe to this day that if we went in at half time losing then we would of got steamrolled second half and they could of given us a proper hammering. Obviously the drogba goal in the final was crucial but the ramires one gets it for me because it was a moment of pure genius that if messi scored people would of been going on about it until the day he died.
July 16, 201212 yr drogs in munich was big ,but ramires in the nou camp was massive as it lifted a broken team at just the right time , sideshows pen was also sh*t or bust
July 16, 201212 yr I think the ramires goal against barcelona really changed the momentum of the tie, the same with didiers against bayern so both of them were huge
July 16, 201212 yr For me it was multiple orgasm time watching Torres run with that ball in Barca...It took seconds but seemed like an age..I knew he would score , but at the same time , was sure hed mess up..As he rounded the goalie iwas then sure hed slip...As he scored the relief was unbelievable....OOPS i better go
