JMaher94 got a reaction from Gordon Bennett in Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!I will not comment on any of our midfielders until Poch is gone.
The amount of space they have to defend, the lack of movement in front of them (all due to Poch's structure).
Don't be silly guys, these are young players who have been given ZERO tactical advice.
Poch made Lionel Messi look average, do not turn on them.

JMaher94 got a reaction from El regreso in Nicolas Jackson - strikerToo much pressure on him as a 22 year old to lead the line for Chelsea
His link-up and driving us forward is very good, just not clinical. He's not a striker though, he's a winger and played there for Villareal.

JMaher94 got a reaction from DidierDrogbalala in Poch In or Out? The Mega-thread MergedI haven't been on this forum for a long.
He's the worst manager in Chelsea history. Get rid.

JMaher94 got a reaction from DidierDrogbalala in Kalidou KoulibalyWait, hold on? Are people writing him off already?
Nobody with the exception of Thiago Silva and Reece James have resembled anything close to being good enough this season. The dressing room is in a mess, so many new players and a completely new system for him to get accustomed to.
Rudiger you say? The guy that took 3/4 seasons of being here to actually be good?
Koulibaly will be a great signing for Chelsea.

JMaher94 got a reaction from Ivaforever in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerTuchel is a superior tactician, he's probably in the top 3 in the world. I also think Tuchel is the best knockout manager on the planet.
However, in league form, he's not been too great for us as I dont think he sets the team up to be competetive enough against the smaller sides. I trust him to beat Madrid, PSG and Liverpool yet don't to beat Wolves, Southampton or Fulham.
Can't compare Potter to Hodgson, that is beyond unfair. I've seen Potter's Brighton outplay us, Spurs, Pool, United and Arsenal on multiple ocassions. He is a top coach, it's just whether he can handle the big club atmosphere.

JMaher94 got a reaction from Ivaforever in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerThe only one I want now that Tuchel has gone.
Good football, multiple systems and create a lot of chances. Top manager. If he had a different name with a better coat and came from La Liga, people would rave about him more.
Also a little anecdote. We've played Brighton 3 times under Tuchel and they have outplayed us on every occassion. They should have won both games at the Bridge but a healthy margin as well.
Only concern is how he will do at a big club (with all respect to Brightom whom I like) and managing those ridiculous egos.

JMaher94 got a reaction from Night-T in Kalidou KoulibalyAlso can I add that the protection our CBs get from our midfield is bordering pathetic, Thiago has been brilliant but he also plays in the centre where he gets protected by the R/LCB.

JMaher94 reacted to HazardousChoice in Kalidou KoulibalyStill crazy to me how people who had never watched this lad play more than 7/8 times in his career spent the whole Summer calling him a Rudiger Upgrade.
-
JMaher94 reacted to Night-T in Kalidou KoulibalyKoulibaly was very very good in Italy (and before that).
How long did it take for Rudiger to be at his peak for Chelsea. How many didn't want him out after a season?
Give the man some time. He just arrived in a new competition, in a new system, in a new Team and not just that.
Half of the defence is new. The other CB only arrived a couple of days ago. Give them some time to grow some chemistry.
Judging him already in a fresh team that isn't performing well as a whole is realy harsh.
And aside, Rudiger has so far started from the bench almost every official game. Does that mean he isn't as good as the others?
Give rudiger some time and he probably will be the fixed CB for Real, but you need to give the players some time to settle in a new team/ competition, etc. before making conclusions.
So many people only see things as they are in a moment of a current emotion. Last year, Mendy was the best goaly of the world for some. Today he is a horrible goalkeeper.
Maybe last year he was overperforming and this year he isn't fully settled yet. (A whole new defence could be a part of it).

JMaher94 reacted to Chris Gundleton in Graham Potter (Now Sacked ) - *Official* New (Now Old) Chelsea ManagerWatching the odd BHA game on Sky, they are a good watch. Their problem was similar to ours before it went to s*** in that they don't finish chances. Unlike us, they create a ton of chances playing a system similar to us but with a more direct style (no Jorginho type at BHA). Put it this way, if BHA are playing one of our direct rivals for top 4 etc, I think they have a good chance at winning. Plus his record in Sweden was like getting the equivalent of Bury 5th in the Prem from the lower leagues, winning the FA Cup and qualifying for Europe.
Potter would be my choice. No flash in the pan with BHA. Would be refreshing to go another route for once....
