  1. Same here, I've had to find an alternative route too
  2. Born in 67 like your brother and my dad first took me when I was 8. I am also from Morden (with a dad who was named Michael!) although haven't been back there in quite a while!
  3. I can't decide if I like it or not so will wait till I see it close up - I did buy one for my daughter (Birthday present request) but apologies as did it via Blue Light for the 15% discount!
  4. When we bought the ticket my older daughter hadn't been born, she got married last year and had two tables full of MHU ST holders!
  5. Our ST seats are MHU and I love my seat, I'd be pretty miffed if I had to pay extra because of where the seat is as I bought it when they built the MHU and were looking at people to buy 5 year season tickets to raise money - cost us 4k for two tickets at the time which was a pretty loyal investment considering we weren't doing particularly well at the time. The whole point of giving them that much money was so I could hand pick my seat!
  6. Anyone looking for a good omen to cling to - it's my Birthday on the 19th December and last time we played a Cup QF on my Birthday we beat Liverpool 2-0. It's either going to be a very good or a very bad Birthday at the Bridge this year!
  7. I went to the event and really enjoyed it, JT was brilliant spoke for the first hour about his career, how he started, things that happened along the way and then answered questions in the second part from the audience. It was really good and if anyone gets a chance to go I would - you can get general admission for £25 and then there are other packages which include photo's, dinner etc.
  8. I caved on Saturday and bought a JT one, never got one whilst he was playing for us as didn't want to jinx it and make him leave! what sold it was the legends patch on the sleeve though as it was a nice Vialli memento too
  9. Really enjoyed the game, it was quite emotional seeing all the old players again and was so happy for JT when he scored. Had quite a JT weekend as also went to the evening with JT session on Friday night which was really really good - definitely worth going to if anyone gets a chance.
  10. I got mine on Friday - mind you I ordered from Nike as the Megastore was sold out
  11. We've beaten all of them before and we can beat all of them again! be positive!
  12. I can get in on the work laptop but not on my phone
  13. Well now that they've moved d-day in that farce of a trial to Thursday maybe Jamie will opt to support his wife instead of playing!
  14. My brother is a Gooner and he said that in some ways it's a relief as he knows they are not good enough for the CL
  15. Have mixed feelings about that as I'd rather Arsenal qualified than Tottenham!
  16. Didn't he originally say he wasn't interested, wonder what's made him change his mind this late in the game
  17. I see Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams have now joined Sir Martin's bid. It seems to change by the day in terms of who is getting involved. I thought Hamilton was a Gooner.
  18. Pre-match was brilliant, just constant singing in the concourse areas etc but as soon as we got in the ground it all went very quiet. We were on the train home with loads of Palace supporters who gave us no end of stick saying that all that hassle about not being able to go to matches and buy tickets and we may as well have not been there anyway. I didn't think it was that bad but maybe it sounded a lot different at the other end of the ground. Funniest thing was we got talking to the Palace fans on the journey home and one of them ended up living down our road and was a flipping Man Utd fan!
  19. Well its never predictable watching Chelsea!!
