Yup is what we do. Losing domestic cup finals is in this squads DNA.

I know it will mean beating Pool, or City, as well as Palace but I hope we can match today's effort and determination to break our domestic cup duck and end the season on a high. That would be great.

Thankful this is one Sunday to give us some recovery time.

Agree with ax lineup, would maybe rest Kante again (and maybe Thiago for Sarr with Rudi going to the centre) as we have yet another crucial sequence of matches coming up with Arsenal and Spammers following in the league and we must secure that 3rd position.

Yeah a lot of it will come down to physical and mental condition after the Real game. Provided everyone is alright in those regards I would go with the above line up. Getting third is important but we don't want to make any mistakes here either. Palace ran is very close at their place. We need to be professional and get the job done.

Then who knows. Either way the opponent for us or Palace is a world class team who may we have a CL final to worry about and/or be celebrating a league title and/or having missed out on a league title.

I think following on from last night the team will be up for the Semi and we will win.

As it's Sunday we have a little R & R time as well as prep time.

Should all come together nicely.

 

I get why there is so much disappointment around here. To climb the mountain only to fall off the other side is heartbreaking and I am gutted like everyone else on here.

I also don't think it helps that we are out of the title race, the top 4 race is not a trophy or real interest for a side that aims where we aim, and if we best Palace we either face a side we played superbly against 3 times and could not beat or face a side we surrendered against twice and looked scared to death of.

Is not exactly excitment building for me, the CL was and anything was possible as City are under so much pressure in it and in the final you just never know. With that gone season sort of feels done to me.

Think Kante should be rested for this one. 

Jorginho usually does well against Palace. Given Gallagher's absence I can't see Palace pressing to the extent they normally do.

This is a right banana skin as no one expects Gallagherless Palace to beat us, they are all talking like we are there already.
