Think Maresca will analyze Villa’s performances these recent matchdays to see if we could risk Enzo in the XI. 

With any luck Maresca will pull his head out of his arse for once and start Carney Chukwuemeka !

Went to their game at Levekusen today and they were beyond hopeless defensively.

I'm always somewhat wary of European away days but ride out the atmosphere they will bring to the occasion and this really shouldn't be a problem.

I'd play Caicedo + Lavia against Villa.

If we use Lavia and Caicedo vs Villa, I think we will need the 3 in front of them to be Palmer on the right, nkunku or Felix as the 10 and neto on the left.

They're 15th in the Bundesliga.

Yes I thought of that as an option. Would fit with Felix's recent "elevation" to the PL starting XI as well ... we shall see !

I think he is seen as a forward, either in Nkunku's position or out wide. Didn't he come on for a winger in the last game?

Maybe is he Maresca sees him, but really he can be a wide forward, a 10 or an 8. 

 

So in this case we have used Casadei as a 6, so Carney could play the 8, and for certain would do a better job linking the play to the forwards than KDH will do.

Really need Nkunku to put down a marker for himself in his best position.

We need at least a 9 out of 10 for him. Push himself in to Marescas plans.

Make it so we have to move Palmer back to his best position on the right, that teams cannot double mark him and leave Nkunku and Neto free.

A front 3 of Palmer, Nkunku and Neto all on song is one of the best in Europe, with Felix to rotate in. 

But we need Nkunku to play a blinder. Guiu will make space for him he just has to use it.
