Would be fine with that line up too. Either Saul or Dave at wingback, for goodness sake don't make us suffer Alonso or Werner again TT!

Trev is injured and I don't want to see Alonso in the side so that either leave Dave over to the left and AC in or Saul on the left and Dave in the back 3, as Gol suggested.

Sarr could play in the back three over Christensen.

Big game in front of us, finally Champions League is back and we're there to play!

In current form, both teams aren't at their best in the league but show different quality in the CL competition.

Tuchel has a lot to think about, especially about formation. 4-2-3-1 didn't really work for us because we don't have a natural LB ( or maybe we're ready to risk and put a player from nowhere, Ryan Bertrand style).

I'd go with the 3-4-3.

- We don't have an experienced player on LWB positions, so it leaves us only with Alonso. With a proper defensive cover by Rudi, Kante and Pulisic on the left wing, we can deal with it. Sarr isn't really good there as LWB, so is Saul. 

After our disaster performance against Brentford, I hope our mentality is there. We always have to remember, we're the f**king Champions of the Europe. We can lose, this is the game but we have to stay strong and play our best to beat Real Madrid!

 

COME ON CHELS!!!! 

 

Hopefully a much, much better performance than yesterday.

He's only good as a wing back against lower ranked teams with no pace.  Rudiger continually bales him out defensively.  Been a good servant ,but we are now down to the vinegar strokes both in the Cup competitions and league, in which case I don't want to see Alonso anywhere near the starting line up.

So apparently Real were pleased when they got us as they think we’re not that good.
