Glad we got that performance outta the way Saturday

Me too. This, and to a lesser degree the FA Cup, is by far the priority.

Our route to the final is sh*t. Carlos Real, Peps City and then Klopps pool if we make it there. Garbage but is what it is.

Now we need TT and the players to be flawless in order to offer something great to end the season on.

I don't give a stuff if we don't win another league match this season. So long as we pick up big ears and hopefully an FA Cup, that will do nicely.

I’m not sure whether this is the right topic, however I am a dutch fan travelling on Wednesday morning to london to visit Chelsea- Real Madrid. I am looking for a nice pre match experience. Kinda used to a lot so aint looking for any quiet place. Also looking for some club/ late night bar for after the match. What would you guys recommend?

Never called him scum.

Trev is injured and I don't want to see Alonso in the side so that either leave Dave over to the left and AC in or Saul on the left and Dave in the back 3, as Gol suggested.

Saul is worse than alonso as wb.

We played Liverpool in the carabao cup final and Alonso held his own against Salah and Trent. I get that he is a bad fullback but if we play a back 3 he is the best left wing back option we have. He wasn't at fault for any of the goals and actually kantes brain Fart decision to go press mbuemo and leave Erikson one on one with the keeper is what swong the tie

Definitely don't mind Alonso playing wb just not fb, I'd be happy either either him or Saul on the left as long as James starts on the right. I think we need to see our most athletic players for this game for us to do well, we completely out played them across two legs they looked like grandpas compared to our players. Pulisic, Kova, Mount, Havertz, Kanté, James, Rudiger etc all of these players that demonstrate speed, power and athleticism. Despite their ages I'd put Thiago and Azpil up there as well they can move well and are technically sound.

                               Mendy

      Azpilicueta         Silva           Rudiger

                   Kanté           Kovacic

James           Mount       Pulisic       Alonso

                              Havertz

If Saul is fit I wouldn't mind him over Alonso, Christensen also has a shout in the team as does Ziyech but these are all good bench options too.

As long as the team puts in their best, we can go toe to toe to them.

But if the defence becomes lazy or gets careless of Benzema and Modric, they might punish us

Note to self: double up on the magic match winning pants and the ice cream.

After the recent displays, not only last Saturday, I'm not really confident. Thank goodness it's only Real

The confidence of Madrid supporters is a little low

They recently lost at home to Barca 0-4.

Unfortunately I don’t think we’ve got enough to win the CL. To win it, we will have to beat 3 elite teams and we had dropped a level this season and there’s too much going on around the club.

It’s a good job I’m not their manager though.

Can we win it? Sure we can, we beat 3 elite teams in Atletico, Real and City to do so last year.

Will we? No imo because even if we can beat Real again over two legs, and beat City when we have cowered in fear of them this season, no way we beat Pool in the final. Lady luck has always helped them when needed this season.

                         Mendy

          Azpi        Silva      Rudiger

 James       Kante    Jorginho   Alonso

                   Mount    Pulisic

                          Havertz

My only doubt would be Pulisic/Ziyech, but I reckon Pulisic's speed could be useful here.

You’ll have to have my share of ice cream anyway, I’ll be at The Bridge where they refuse to come around during the interval with it despite my constant emails.

Ah awesome you will be there. I look forward to your after match input on the game 👍

Make sure you start a "oh Thiago Silva" chant eh? 😉

Did you manage to get a ticket @CaitlinCFC ?

Whoever is fortunate to go hope you have am amazing time. Games like this is what the CL is all about.

Facing the most decorated winners in European cup history, arguably the most famous club in the world at a packed Bridge.

Absolutely glorious.

Everyone has to be at the highest level tonight, including the fans. I read that there will be a display at the Shed, which is a fantastic thing. All I wish is the Bridge to be rocking for 90 minutes, singing as loud as possible, and pushing our heroes towards another great victory.

Big day coming up for us. Hopefully it's going to be one to remember. COME ON! 🔵
