Hey @Moduekethe kickoff time error in the title was intentional as a tribute to Coco as well, you know how his mess ups usually made for us to win, and give us a good laugh to. You did not give others a chance to notice it lol.

Right, I'll be in Vegas Wednesday.  I'm placing bets on every remaining home game of the season for a 0-1 loss - that ought to fix things.

(I’d never really bet against my side)

Unfortunately I have a comedy zoom thing so I’ll once again have to give it a miss. Shame.

Damn you just cannot catch a break can you?

Well if you do bet against us, you know the saying "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas..." 😉

This seems reasonable. Rest a few players but still put out a pretty strong team.

I would be interested in seeing Jackson and Broja together as a front 2, with Palmer/Mudryk outside them.

Aye that would be interesting. Hopefully Broja is fit

Rovers a mid table team in the championship have let in an average of 1.5 goals per game.

I don't want to waste Reece on this one, so I'm  going with

gusto disasi badiashile maatsen (although Colwill could play instead of Disasi)

 ugo conor

         palmer

madueke jackson mudryck

It is incredible how thin the attacking options are. Madueke will likely get injured soon anyway.

caicedo and enzo can sit out another game.

Rovers have some decent attacking players but also concede a fair amount of goals. I suspect they will probably go for an attacking approach in this game based on that, so hopefully we won't be facing another low block. But who knows?

Agree with the fielding a strong team argument. Only way we will qualify for a European spot this season is by winning this.

Winners of EFL Cup go into Europa Conference League. The FA Cup winners go into Europa League. Winning either would be great, given our current outlook in the league. A few of the top 6 teams are already knocked out of EFL Cup, including City. But lets hope we can get past Blackburn and then worry about a potential QF.

I think this competition is our only hope this season.  Should have enough to turn Blackburn over . The luck of the draw will depend how far we go though, still some difficult teams left in the mix many of them struggling in the league will also see this an opportunity to get to Europe albeit in a tinpot cup....still if we win that we'd have won every European trophy I suppose.

Exactly! I am pining for the Conference League trophy! We can't say we've won it all until we've actually laid our hands on this one.

Oh the parties in the street come May 2025....

Reece James to start v Blackburn according to Poch.

Needed step in his recovery. As is a start for Badiashille imo.
