I think he'd do just as well as the sort of player you mention. He's strong for his size and what he lacks in power he makes up for when the ball is at his feet.

The way he plays would fit perfectly into our system imo. But his temperament is obviously a big negative and quite frankly I think we could do without more negative press.

I'd only be happy with MvG if we loaned him out for the season. He looks like he's got real potential but we're extremely deep in that role at the moment. And as he wants to play regularly to get in the WC squad a loan would suit everyone.

Plays in a similar fashion to Zaha. I wouldn't be against signing him assuming he's loaned out.

Definitely not. Mata doesn't suit the tiki taka style. And he's terrible defensively. He tries but he's just so weak and slow that he's useless anywhere but on the ball in the opponents half. They have Fabregas and Thiago who would be far better as Xavi's replacement. But also I don't think its a problem of personnel for Spain or Barca, but of style. The flaws of tiki-taka have been exposed and teams (especially the best) are exploiting these flaws. Everyone is better off with Mata right where he is.

Doesn't look like an upgrade on Mikel so no point. I'd rather see us try to bring Chalobah and Ake through.

Villa can f**king do one. The aim of football is to score goals. Mata's pass led to a goal. Villa is obviously a little bitch who cares more about himself than the team. Del Bosque should keep a close eye on him as he could disrupt the team harmony. Pretty unlikely, I know, but it only takes one d**khead to ruin it for everyone.

I was in favour of Shaw from Southampton, but I think we've got enough cover with Bertrand and PVA. We should reassess the situation next summer. United just won the league with Evra and Buttner as their two LBs. We are far better off in this department. Centre half is more of a concern. Omeruo is good for a young player but unless Mourinho thinks he can mould him into a European level defender within a year or two I think we'd be best off looking at a new signing. Sakho would be my choice. He's physical, a good tackler and I think is good enough for Mourinho to turn into a world class centre back in a short period of time.
