dkw Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 just heard that birmingham may get reegated because of the pitch fiasco. bit harsh if it happens. funny though.
loz Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 Detailed here ashman http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 254677.stm I reckon it will just be a fine. Personally I don't think they should be disciplined at all - the weather has been of a freak nature and I don't think Birmingham should be held accountable for that!
Guest Posted January 13, 2007 Posted January 13, 2007 cheers for the link loz, the pitch does look bad to be fair. . . they should of just relayed it with sand like chelsea did a few seasons back when they played charlton 8) bringing samba football to the EPL i think chelsea won 4-0 or 4-1 aswell i think a fine should be taken against birmingham deffinately, i dont like to see teams deducted points though and i think deducting points in this scenario would be very unfair on birmingham. in my opinion its no different from a game not being played under the same acts of a water logged pitch and unsafe playing conditions.
